Important Policies & Guidelines - Weather Policy: Boating is weather-dependent for safety. We monitor conditions closely and reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if weather (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds, lightning) makes operations hazardous, as determined by the captain. In such cases, you'll have the option to reschedule to another available date at no extra charge or receive a full refund (excluding any non-refundable processing fees). Light rain, overcast skies, or mild conditions typically do not qualify for cancellation/rescheduling—your charter will proceed as planned. - Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund minus any processing fees. Cancellations within 48 hours of the charter are non-refundable, except in cases of unsafe weather as noted above. We recommend travel insurance for unexpected changes. - Late Arrival / No-Show Policy: Please arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in, safety briefing, and boarding. We hold the boat for up to 30 minutes past the scheduled start time. Late arrivals reduce your charter time accordingly with no extension or refund. No-shows or failure to arrive without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the full charter fee—no refunds or credits. - Safety Considerations: All guests must follow Coast Guard and captain instructions at all times. Life jackets are provided and must be worn when required (e.g. children under 13 or non-swimmers). No jumping/diving except in designated safe areas. Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs that impair judgment may be denied boarding or have the charter terminated early without refund. Maximum capacity is strictly enforced for safety and legal reasons. - Boat Rules: No smoking onboard. No shoes on deck (deck shoes or bare feet only to protect surfaces). No glass containers—use plastic or provided cups. No pets unless pre-approved. No unauthorized swimming/snorkeling without captain permission. Respect the vessel: no damage from negligence (e.g., spills, rough handling) may incur cleaning/repair fees deducted from your security deposit. Bring only what you can carry—large coolers or excessive gear may not fit. - Other Notes: Fuel is typically included. The captain has final authority on all decisions regarding safety, itinerary adjustments, or charter termination. We aim for a fun, safe experience—any violation of these policies may result in early termination without refund.
