General Boat Rental Terms 1. Pre-Rental Inspection & Check-In Timing All renters are required to meet at the designated boat ramp 30 minutes prior to the scheduled rental start time. This allows time for a full inspection of the boat, a safety and operational walkthrough, and for launching the vessel. Please note that arriving late may reduce your on-water rental time, as the boat must still be returned at the scheduled end time. The inspection must be completed before the boat is put in the water. 2. Return Time Policy The boat must be returned by the agreed-upon end time. A grace period of 5 minutes is allowed. After that, a late return fee of $50 for every 10 minutes (or portion thereof) will apply. This fee is strictly enforced to ensure timely turnaround for other renters. 3. Fuel Policy We offer a prepaid fuel option of $12 per rental hour, payable at check-in. This option is only available before your rental time begins and cannot be added afterward. If you choose not to prepay for fuel, you are responsible for refueling the boat before returning it. Please note: - Refueling time is part of your rental period, not added to it. - If the boat is returned without being refueled and the prepaid fuel option was not selected, a fee of $6.00 per gallon used will be charged. We highly recommend the prepaid option so you can maximize your time on the water and avoid the hassle of refueling at the end. 4. Cleaning Policy The boat must be returned clean and free of trash or debris, and not in an excessively dirty condition. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged if the boat is returned in a condition that requires cleaning beyond normal use. 5. Weather Policy No refunds will be issued for weather-related delays or early returns once the rental period has begun. The rental is considered active once the scheduled time starts, regardless of changes in weather conditions. 6. No-Show Policy Failure to show up for your reservation—regardless of reason—will result in the full rental amount being charged. No refunds or credits will be provided for no-shows. 7. Dog Policy Dogs are not permitted on the boat unless pre-approved in writing prior to the rental. - An approved dog will be subject to a $150 non-refundable dog fee, due at the time of check-in. - If a dog is brought on board without prior approval, the rental may be cancelled without refund, and a $500 non-approved animal fee will be charged. - Renters are fully responsible for any damage or cleaning needed due to the presence of a dog, regardless of approval status.
