Important Rental Policies Please read carefully before booking — these to protect both parties and ensure a safe, smooth experience with my 2024 Tahoe T18. Cancellation & No-Show Policy • Cancellations made more than 7 days before your rental start time receive a full refund - • Cancellations within 5 days or no-shows are non-refundable (full rental fee charged). • I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to mechanical issues or extreme safety concerns (full refund issued in those cases). Weather Policy • Boating is weather-dependent for safety. Light rain or overcast skies do not qualify for cancellation or refunds. • If dangerous conditions occur (e.g., high winds, lightning, storms, or official Small Craft Advisory), I may cancel or reschedule for your safety — full refund offered • You are responsible for checking the forecast. No refunds for deciding not to go due to mild weather. Safety & Boat Rules (Mandatory) • Renter must be at least 21 years old, provide a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate boating experience/competency. A California Boater Card is strongly recommended. • All occupants must wear properly fitted life jackets at all times while on or near the water. • No operation under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substances (zero tolerance). • Boat must be returned clean, and in the same condition as delivered. You are liable for any damage, excessive cleaning, or missing items. • Maximum capacity: 9 people. No pets without prior approval. • Stay within designated safe areas of the lake; follow all local boating laws and Lake McClure (or chosen lake) regulations. Other Key Terms • You (the renter) are fully responsible for obtaining the required day-use/launch pass at the lake. • A security deposit ($400) is required and held until the boat is returned undamaged. • Delivery/launch service is available for an extra fee but must be confirmed in advance. • By booking, you agree to sign a full rental agreement/waiver releasing me from liability for accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from your use of the boat.
