Important Policies for Your Rental To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following policies before booking: Weather Cancellations: Your safety is our top priority. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to inclement weather. This includes, but is not limited to, heavy rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, or any weather conditions deemed unsafe for boating. - River Flooding: The White River can occasionally experience high water levels and flooding, particularly in the spring. We monitor the river conditions closely. If the river is at a flood stage or deemed unsafe for navigation, we will cancel the rental, and you will receive a full refund in accordance with Boatsetter's weather policy. - Renter's Discretion: If you are concerned about the weather forecast, please contact us to discuss potential options. Per GetMyboat policy, cancellations due to non-hazardous weather are at the owner's discretion. Late Arrivals & No-Shows: - Late Arrivals: Your rental period begins at the scheduled time. Arriving late will result in a shorter time on the water, as we cannot extend rentals due to late arrivals. - No-Shows: If you do not arrive within 30 minutes of your scheduled rental time and have not contacted us, you will be considered a no-show and will be charged the full rental amount. Safety & Boat Rules: For your safety and the longevity of our boat, we have a few important rules: - Alcohol: The boat operator must not consume alcohol. Operating a boat under the influence is illegal in Indiana. - Life Jackets: In accordance with Indiana law, there must be a properly-sized, wearable life jacket for every person on board. Children under 13 years of age are required to wear a life jacket at all times while the boat is underway. - Capacity: The maximum capacity of the boat is 8 persons. This limit will be strictly enforced for your safety. - No Smoking: For the safety and cleanliness of the boat, smoking of any kind is not permitted on board. - No Towing: Towing of any water toys, tubes, or other vessels is not permitted. - Respect for the River: Please be mindful of other boaters, wildlife, and "no wake" zones. - No Pets: No dogs, no cats, no rats, no nothin'. Keep them at home or pay the full security deposit!
