After high school I received a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University. While I was studying at University, I enjoyed having friends from different countries and cultural backgrounds, which played a role in my desire to live in another culture myself.  This business is the fruit of a passion for Khmer that I developed following my first visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia in 2009. At that time, I captured a glimpse of the potential of this nation to empower its young people through employment and training opportunities. Coupled with my passion for connecting people with nature and outdoor sports, this insight began inspiring me to develop a business that would help further Cambodia’s efforts to draw tourists to experience the wonders of Cambodia. Since my return to Cambodia in January 2012, I have gained further insight into the lives, values, and potential of Cambodians, which has solidified my desire to build such a business here. Each day I spend in Kratie, I learn more about this nation I have grown to love, and take in unending inspirational natural sites.
