Sail in Newport, Rhode Island with this Captained Sailing Charter Catalina 320 Sailboat! For rate starting from $180 per hour. 6 passengers max per coast guard regulations. Our company was founded by Captain Kenneth in 2022 with the purpose of sharing the unparalleled experience of sailing the scenic waters around historic Newport, Rhode Island. His twin brother Perrin is also a captain. Our family has sailed in the Newport area for many generations, and we are thrilled to share our favorite spots and local knowledge with others. Mariah is a Catalina 320 sailboat, one of the most popular and sought after models of sloops. At 32 feet, she is large enough to ensure a delightful sail, while being easier to sail than a larger boat. Mariah’s wide beam at the stern makes for an exceptionally large cockpit complete with desirable stern perch-seats. Equipped with a walk-through transom, stern swim ladder, and a hot/cold freshwater stern-shower, Mariah is the ideal charter sailboat for those who also wish to go swimming. Getting in and out of the water is much easier than on other sailboats where you have to climb over the freeboard and gunnels to get back into the boat. Mariah is fully documented with the United States Coast Guard and the State of Rhode Island as a charter boat. Our normal pickup location is at the boat ramp at Fort Adams. Alternate pick up locations can be arranged in advance for an additional fee If available. Kenneth and his boat exceeded all expectations and we had a fabulous day. He was very engaging and informative, and made our day alternating between sailing and listening to music in front of the folk fest an amazing experience. He even anchored us right up next to the stage with expertly navigating between a ton of other boats. Can’t wait for next year and highly recommend.

Capt Ken was fantastic - highly recommended for small groups especially with kids. Ken was super communicative leading up to the trip, and provided a custom experience (finding a good spot to swim), he even let the kids steer the boat. The Mariah is a beautiful vessel with comfortable seating as well as roomy and shady as needed. I would book with Ken again no questions. Thank you, Ken!!

From start to finish, Kenneth was incredibly friendly and engaging, making the entire experience unforgettable. He truly made us feel like part of the sailing adventure, sharing his knowledge and ensuring we had the best time possible. I would rate this experience a 10 out of 10 and would gladly book with him again next time we're in town. Highly recommend!

Perrin was a great conversationalist as well as a captain for our sunset sail. I appreciated his knowledge about the island and town’s history. He was very accommodating for our needs and patient with us being fulfilling new parent duties! Would recommend
