Enjoy kayaking in Otago, New Zealand! Come and experience the unique Otago Peninsula wildlife including the Royal Albatross, Shags, Little Blue Penguines, seals, sea lions and other surprises. Tour Details: Our tours are set up to accommodate the beginner to the expert! Our trips go out at Wellers Rock and travel along the sheltered inlet all the way to Tairoa Head to see the Royal Albatross. This is a beautiful and relaxing trip where you are most likely to see Little blue penguins, Fur seals and sea lions, many marine birds including shags (Cormorants). Sea kayaking is by far - the best way to view the remarkable wild life of this area. The trip takes between an hour and a half to three hours -return, depending on  level of fitness and how long you would want to spend out there. No experience needed for kayaking. It suits for any fitness level. We provide very experienced local guides with great knowledge. Water proof bags will be provided to protect valuables, Prices: - Adult: $85 NZD for 3 hours - Child under 12: $65 NZD Prices include a free coffee and muffin from the Eden Cafe at the end of the trip. I am the head of sea kayaking guide and have been living and breathing the sea all my life. I know how to read the sea conditions well, where to find the animals and how to get as close as possible to them, while keeping things safe and respecting the animals and nature at all times. I have a vast knowledge about the local wildlife and happy to answer any of your questions about all these amazing animals in our unique area.
