Affordable Sea Ray Bowrider for Experienced Boaters to Drive yourself or hire a captain!

 Why should you book with us? - We are the most experienced boat rental company in Chicago - Check out our profile to see that we have done over 700 rentals through the GetMyBoat platform alone! - Our boats are professionally cleaned between all rentals - All boats are highly equipped for rental - multi-zone bluetooth sounds system, sun pads, swim platform, high-capacity coolers, full bathroom CAPTAIN: This is a recreational vessel so you will need to hire a captain directly. We provide a pre-approved Captain contact list, but you have your choice of who to hire. We recommend budgeting $80-$100 per hour plus gratuity. You may hire a different qualified captain through our owner-approval process. ADDITIONAL FEES: $125 fuel (river cruise may have surcharge), $50 cleaning fee WHAT TO EXPECT: This 26 foot Sea Ray Sundeck bowrider is a perfect boat for a day on the lake. It is equipped with a great Bluetooth sound system, bathroom (YES this boat has a bathroom compartment!), cooler, sink, shower, and huge lounge seating in the front. There is a large swim platform on the back of the boat which makes getting in and out of the water a breeze! The boat has an anchor for hanging out in the playpen. Bring your own food and drinks.  WEATHER: If you are unable to use the boat due to dangerous weather conditions or heavy sustained rain, (actually happening at time of rental, not based on forecast conditions) you can elect to either reschedule at no charge or to receive a 75% refund of the boat rental rate.  LOCATION: We are docked at 31st street harbor which is about a 10 minute taxi from downtown. There is paid parking available nearby. DRIVE IT YOURSELF: Experienced boaters can drive this boat themselves ($75 pre-departure orientation/check out required for first self driving rental with us), or you can hire a captain to take you out on the water. Booking rates do not include Captain, fuel or cleaning fees. We recommend no more than 8 passengers on this boat. If you want to hire a captain you should budget about $100 per hour plus gratuity. Fuel cost is estimated at $150 for a typical 4-hour itinerary. If you want to drive this boat yourself you will need to provide a boating license or have significant experience operating a similar boat. If you don't have enough experience you can hire a captain. A member of our staff will conduct an orientation with you to make sure you are comfortable with the unique features of this Sea Ray. This boat has a commercial insurance policy with a bareboat charter endorsement which, via the bareboat charter agreement, adds the charterer as a named insured. You may also decide to purchase additional insurance if you would like. Any DRIVER of the boat must have at least 2 years of experience operating similar sized boats (within 10 feet length), must not have any criminal convictions or please of no contest, and must not have any marine insurance losses/claims in the last 10 years, and no license suspensions/violations (including auto) in the last 5 years.
