White Water Rafting Scenic Float Trips in Jackson

About This Rafting Experience

Our 8 mile “Classic” whitewater trip down the Snake River allows you to paddle but gives you the option to sit in the middle of the raft and hold on. Great for families that have young children or members that just want to “Hang on and enjoy the rapids.”

This is a class lll river (from l-Vl), with 8-10 sets of some real fun rapids. After every section of whitewater you go through there is a calm section following. This is a very wide and deep river! Great for jumping in for a quick swim! Some sections are up to 80 feet deep. This is a good thing as the shallower rivers can be very technical and rated in the upper V’s. This is a great family river! Also, a great river for all ages who want some big waves.

What to wear? You may wear shorts or bathing suits. We do have splash jackets on the river if you want to use them. For those of you who get cold and wish to rent wetsuits, that’s not a problem. We have plenty and ALL sizes! We have changing rooms at the boathouse. Sorry, no Flip Flops or bare feet. Teva’s, water shoes or tennis shoes will be fine. We do have some great wetsuit boots that will keep your feet warm for rent at the boathouse.

The water temperature varies. May and June you can expect it somewhere in the mid 40’s to 50’s. July and August mid 50’s to the mid 60’s and September and October back in the 50’s. One reason our season lasts as long as it does is because it is fed from a dam, the Jackson Lake Dam.

We will be offering three scenic float trips a day starting mid May and going through mid October. Each trip is equally enjoyable. Scenic Float trips includes a delicious lunch that includes a deli sandwich, potato chips, homemade cookie and water.

The first Sunset Trip starts June 16th and our last Sunset Trip is August 31. Which ever trip you choose to go on, you are guaranteed a wonderful experience.

We also provide high powered Bushnell binoculars for you to thoroughly enjoy the surrounding area. These binoculars will give you the unique opportunity to view the many types of wildlife up close as if you were standing right next to them! It certainly makes for a better trip when you are able to see a bald eagle or an osprey from the comfort of your raft.

$75 - Adults
$55 - Children

We have the best of both worlds, fun filled combination trip that includes a whitewater trip down the 8-miles stretch of the Snake River Canyon and a scenic float on the upper section of the Snake River. The 8:45 AM & 12:45 PM combos are our most popular trips! This does come with lunch on the river. Don’t forget to bring your camera! Dress in layers, it’s usually pretty nice on the river, but it is the mountains and we can have an occasional storm pop up.

The second part of the combo is the whitewater section in the lower part of the Snake River. On this section you will get wet! The same vehicle that takes you to the river after lunch brings you back to the boathouse. We do this for a reason! You can put on some shorts, sunscreen lock things in your car and use the bathrooms.

After floating through 13 miles of some of the most beautiful scenery in Jackson Hole, you will be treated to some of the wildest whitewater in Wyoming.
