The Departure – The Call of the Wind and the Promise of the Sea 9:00 AM, La Maddalena Port. The morning air is crisp, vibrant, and charged with energy. After the skipper’s greeting and check-in, everything is set: the moorings are cast off, the hull shudders… and the journey begins. A brief stop in Palau (9:30 AM) to welcome the full crew, and then the most thrilling moment: the sails unfurl, the engine goes silent, and the simple sound of water gliding against the hull inaugurates our adventure. The course is set North-West, toward the infinite blue. First Stop – Spargi, the Wild Heart At 10:30 AM, Spargi appears before us—an island sculpted by time and wind. Cala Corsara or Cala Soraya greet the eye with a breathtaking view: granite rocks that look like works of art—such as the famous "Bulldog’s Head"—and waters so transparent they seem suspended in mid-air. The first dive is a liberating ritual. Those who submerge discover a world of sand and granite, silent and brilliant. Then, back on board, it’s time for a Sardinian aperitivo amidst local scents, smiles, and the shimmering sea all around. The Long Stop – Santa Maria, Relaxation and Flavors of the Sea We set off again heading north, where the water grows calmer, almost still. At 1:00 PM, the anchor gently drops off the Isle of Santa Maria, a corner of absolute peace. While the skipper prepares a seafood lunch—a fragrant Sardinian fregola or a savory seafood pasta—there is time to relax and reach the long white sandy beach. Lunch is served in the cockpit under the awning, lulled by the slow rhythm of the waves and the scent of the horizon. Coffee follows like a small ritual: silence, sea, and sun all around. The Afternoon – Budelli and the Pink Dream Navigation resumes, and soon one of the most famous and delicate places in the world appears: the Pink Beach (Spiaggia Rosa) of Budelli. You cannot touch it, you cannot walk on it—and perhaps that is exactly what makes it so precious. Admiring it from the sea is like witnessing a natural miracle: the pink of the Miniacina miniacea fragments blends perfectly with the turquoise water. Just ahead, the Natural Pools of Porto della Madonna open up: nearly white waters and shallow depths in a natural amphitheater formed by Budelli, Razzoli, and Santa Maria. Here, time stands still. It’s the final swim of the day, immersed in a lagoon that feels surreal. The Return – The Golden Embrace of Sunset Around 5:00 PM, we veer South. The sun begins its descent, and the colors turn to gold, copper, and amber. The boat glides peacefully, accompanied by the gentle breath of the dying wind. It is a moment of stillness, of quiet thoughts and gazes lost toward the horizon. 6:00 PM → Drop-off in Palau. 6:30 PM → Return to La Maddalena, with hearts full of emotion and skin still soaked in the sea. A day between sky and waves, a dream ignited by the wind and the sea of La Maddalena. An experience you won't forget—because some wonders aren't just lived, they are breathed.
