REQUIREMENTS - 27+ Years of Age - Valid Drivers License - Sign Rental Agreement & Waiver - Deposit & Fuel Reimbursement PROHIBITED ITEMS & ACTIVITIES 1. NO SMOKING while on the Boat. 2. NO grilling, cooking or fires on board. 3. NO fishing from Watercraft. 4. NO tethering to other boats. 5. NO towing of any watercraft and NO being towed by any watercraft. 6. NO horseplay or running on docks or boats. 9. NO weapons of any kind to include concealed weapons or hunting weapons. REFUELING Save time, money & hassle with pre-paid fuel! Rather than waiting in line at the gas dock, wasting precious boating time, paying $5-6/gallon and risking the marinas being closed or out of fuel, let us take care of it for you and save ~10% on convenience & credit card fees. It’s worth it, we promise 😉 You will begin your rental with a full tank of gas and the pre-paid fuel fee covers the fill-up at the end of your rental. Multi-Day Rentals: $150 (this fee is included in our offer). No refunds will be given for unused fuel. Always leave enough fuel (at least a 1/16 of a tank) so you or we can safely get back to the boat landing. Note: The pre-paid option is offered as a convenience to our guests and works out to be about the same as if you purchased it yourself on the lake or had us do it for you afterwards for an additional 15% fee. *Due to the inconsistency of the marina gas docks on Lake Keowee and the lack of gas docks on Lake Jocassee, we now only offer pre-paid fuel. The fuel fee is automatically added to your booking and will be included in the final total during checkout. DAMAGE DEPOSIT A damage deposit of $750.00 will be collected for each watercraft rented. During the return process, (docking, fueling and cleaning), a Owner representative will inspect the watercraft for damage. The deposit will be applied toward the cost of the repairs of any and all damages suffered to the watercraft. If the cost of damages exceeds the damage deposit, Renter agrees he/she is fully responsible for the remainder of the costs incurred to repair or replace the watercraft to the same condition as the time the rental agreement was started. Furthermore, the Renter understands and agrees that he/she who is known to Owner as the Operator, is the only person allowed to use the watercraft for the entire rental period. The Operator also understands that he/she is responsible for the retrieval and/or replacement of the watercraft, life jackets or any safety items, if these items are in any way lost, stolen or misplaced during the rental period. Should any damages exceed the $750 damage deposit, Owner will provide an itemized repair bill. This repair bill, including lost rental time, and reasonable attorneys fees must be paid in full upon Users presentation of the bill. User shall be responsible for damages at and beyond the $750 damage deposit.  CONDITION OF BOAT UPON RETURN The Renter shall return the Boat to Owner on or before the termination date and at the specific location clean and free of garbage and debris, in the same condition in which the boat was rented, including all parts, accessories, rigging, and condition of fiberglass. LESSEES are responsible for placing their trash into the containers or bags provided by the LESSOR on the watercraft. Cleaning fees will be charged if the watercraft is returned excessively dirty there will be a $75 cleaning fee. LATE/EARLY RETURN If the boat is returned after the agreed return time, a Fee of $25.00 for every 15 minutes after grace period will apply, unless other arrangements are made. Early returns will not result in refund or prorated rate. Do not leave watercraft unattended. CANCELLATION Full Refund: 7 Days for Day Rentals 14 Days for 3-5 Day Rentals 30 Days for 6+ Day Rentals Inclement Weather: It is up to you to watch the weather and make the call within the cancellation policy timeframe. However, we do not want your boating experience to be miserable or unsafe and will offer a reschedule or rain check on a case-by-case basis. Trip Protection: If our cancellation windows do not work for you, please ask us about trip protection or book with a credit card that offers trip protection.
