Rent this Kayak for $10 per hour in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cap. After a thorough briefing on kayaking techniques and safety we paddle from Central Beach and do a round trip, the direction dependant on winds, swells and paddling abilities. A knowledgeable guide shall open up the wonders of our ocean to you, as we explore the beautiful natural surroundings. On our trips you will enjoy sightings of Cape Fur Seals, Bottlenose and Humpback Dolphins,Whales (July - October) Cormorants and other sea birds and marine mammals. Whatever time of year this is an experience not to be missed. No Experience necessary. You will need: swimming costume, towel, sun hat and sunscreen and a change of clothes for afterwards. We supply the kayak gear and life jackets. RATES SEA KAYAK GUIDED TRIPS RATES: All year round Rate: R250 PER PERSON Duration: Approx 2½ – 2 hours (Trip times can vary slightly due to traveling distances etc) Summer Departure times: 6:00 9.00   12:00   15:00 Winter Departure times:  10:00 and 14:00 Team Building and Groups are accommodated School tours are accommodated and beach activities arranged Launch times and duration of cruises can change to accommodate various itineraries RENTALS Our kayaks are sit-on-top kayaks, with a rudder system which means you don’t sit inside an enclosed cockpit but sit on top. This makes it easier to get in and out of and provides paddlers with a more enjoyable experience. We provide the paddles and safety vests (PDFs) Rentals depend on sea and wind conditions on the day and personal ability.
