Rent this Beneteau 40 Cruising Monohull for up to 6 people in Marina Del Rey, California. Rate as low as $125 per hour (full day rate) and minimum booking of 2 hours as you really need that much time to get out of the marina and actually do some sailing. Please know that I can not usually respond to requests while I am sailing so you may not hear back from me until the evening. Rates: • 2-hours minimum: $150 per hour for 1-6 people • Full Day: 10% discount on hourly rate • 2-Days: $1,900 (overnight rate usually to Catalina includes some provisions and all island fees) What You Can Expect: Sail with Captain Mark. I am a native of Los Angeles and have been sailing out of Marina Del Rey my whole life. I raced sailboats for over 25 years and I have been a USCG licensed captain for over 14 years. I love to teach anyone interested in learning something about sailing. You would be surprised what you can pick up in just a few hours. Take command and learn or just enjoy the sail! We'll can go for a Santa Monica Bay day sail or Catalina overnights (Weekend and overnight rates on request). Max group size is 6 people. The boat is sanitized and cleaned in between charters. Paper towels, napkins and an ample supply of hand sanitizer are on the boat at all three sinks. The pricing you are quoted is all-inclusive. There are no extra fees or charges. Day sails include soft drinks and water. You are allowed to bring food and alcohol if you like. We have a small refrigerator and a freezer onboard to store some things.

Captain Mark is an excellent Skipper, Instructor (if you wish, which we did) and host. He has a very friendly personality and is open to suggestions and requests. We truly enjoyed the afternoon with Captain Mark ! We will certainly book again with him.

We had the best time! In addition to a beautiful day on the water, Mark taught us how to sail and even shared tips on local sailing clubs and schools. On top of that, we had great conversation and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Plus, he let us bring our dog! We couldn’t have asked for a better captain or sailing experience.

We had the best time on Mark’s sailboat for our friend’s bachelorette! From start to finish, Mark took such great care of us - always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and having fun. When one of the girls started feeling seasick, he quickly and calmly navigated us to smoother waters so she could feel better. He was so thoughtful, easygoing, and genuinely fun to chat with. Communication was seamless the entire time, and everything ran smoothly. We all left super happy and would highly recommend booking with Mark if you're looking for an amazing day on the water!

I raced keel boats for over 25 years and still like to get in a little race every now and then. The pricing quoted is all-inclusive. No fees or extras. 50 percent refund if less than 3 days in advance but balance may be used towards a future booking. If canceled due to weather, determined by the captain a full refund will be issued.
