Byron Bay and its immediate waters are an important habitat for over 300 dolphins. These are called resident dolphins and will live in this area their entire lives. The species most commonly seen on our tours include inshore and offshore bottle nose dolphins, along with some Indo Pacific humpback dolphins and common dolphins.
