Grady White Freedom 27’ – Charter & Rental Terms 1. Booking and Payment - All trips must be booked and paid in full via the platform. - Minimum rental: 4 hours (half-day). Full-day trips are 8 hours. - Number of passengers is limited to 6 people maximum. 2. Cancellation and Refund Policy - Renter cancellation ≥ 7 days before trip: Full refund. - Renter cancellation 3–6 days before trip: 50% refund. - Renter cancellation < 72 hours before trip: No refund. - Trips cancelled due to unsafe weather (high winds, fog, or NOAA advisory) will be fully refunded or rescheduled. 3. Renter Responsibilities - Renter agrees to follow all safety instructions provided by the captain. - Renter is responsible for any damage caused by negligence or misuse of the vessel or equipment. - Renter must arrive on time and be ready for departure. Delays may shorten trip duration without refund. - Renter agrees to notify captain immediately of any illness, injury, or unsafe conditions. 4. Safety and Conduct - Life jackets are provided and must be worn when instructed. - Alcohol consumption is permitted at the captain’s discretion; intoxicated behavior may result in trip termination without refund. - No illegal activities (drugs, unsafe fishing practices, etc.) are allowed onboard. 5. Damages and Liability - Maximum renter liability for damages: $5,000 per rental, or the fair market value of the vessel/equipment, whichever is lower. - Security deposit: $500 held at booking (platforms like GetMyBoat handle this automatically). - Renter is responsible for repair or replacement costs for any damage caused beyond normal wear and tear. - The vessel is insured; any claims must be reported immediately. 6. Weather and Trip Conditions - Trips may be rescheduled or shortened due to weather or unsafe conditions at the discretion of the captain. - Captain reserves the right to refuse service to any guest for safety or behavioral concerns. 7. Included Amenities - Fishing gear, bait, rods, and tackle (for fishing trips) - Life jackets and safety equipment - Ice chest / cooler - Seating 8. Itinerary and Activities - Trips may include: - - Striped bass, halibut, or salmon fishing - Dungeness crab trips - Sunset cruises / sightseeing of SF Bay - Exact trip duration, species, and locations may vary based on season, tides, and client preference. 9. Health and Waiver - Renter acknowledges they are in good health and able to safely participate. - Renter assumes all risk of injury or illness during the trip. - Renter releases the captain and vessel owner from liability for personal injury, lost/stolen items, or illness during the charter. 10. Boarding Location - Loch Lomond Marina - Guests are responsible for arriving at the marina on time. 11. Miscellaneous  - This agreement is governed by California law. - Any disputes will first attempt mediation, then legal resolution if necessary. - The captain reserves the right to update terms; current terms will be provided at booking.
