We had a fantastic day on Frits and Lynda’s boat. They were incredible hosts and went above and beyond taking us to remote beaches and preparing tasty food. On top of that they were so lovely with our toddler who had a great time and took a nap in their cabin. We also really enjoyed some great conversations and the day just passed too quickly. Highly recommended and miles better than any standard private tour in the El Nido area!

Nozomu was great to deal with. We started fishing for octopus, then moved on to Horse Mackerel but they just weren’t biting on this day, however Nozomu suggested trawling off the airport and we ended up with a 94cm Kingfish which was great. Nozomu joined us for dinner at a local family restaurant where they prepared the kingfish and octopus for us. They served multiple dishes and it was very authentic. Great experience. Thanks again.

Absolutely cannot recommend Captain Nozomu highly enough! He saved our trip—and turned what could have been a huge disappointment into one of the most unforgettable experiences my son and I had in Japan. Fantastic fishing experience with Nozomu! We booked a 4 hour fishing trip with Nozomu where we targeted Sea Bass. Together my girlfriend and I caught 3 large Sea Bass and one smaller Bream. Nozomu was a fantastic and accommodating captain. He was quick to change spots if we weren't getting good bites, assisted with fishing gear, and provided good fishing tips. There was several times where we almost lost our lures to bad snags, but Nozomu was able to retrieve them each time. Nozomu was also very easy to work with when setting up our trip. Our first scheduled date was cancelled due to poor weather and Nozomu was flexible with rescheduling. I just wish my Japanese language skills were a bit stronger so I could have better exchanged fishing tips and stories with Nozomu. I would definitely recommend Nozomu to anyone looking to book fishing trip in the future.
