-2 passenger MAX (400lbs) per ski -Sharing skis is PROHIBITED. - We DO NOT allow any unauthorized docking or beaching of our skis. A $250 fully-refundable security deposit is required per Jet Ski. If the cost of damages exceed the security deposit, user agrees he/she is fully responsible for the remainder of the cost incurred to repair or replace the watercraft to the same condition as the time the rental agreement started. A 15 minute grace period is allowed for rental returns at the end of your reservation time. After that, $50 will be deducted from your security deposit + $5 per each additional minute you are over your scheduled time *** NC Law requires anyone born after January 1, 1988 to pass a qualifying boater safety course in order to operate any boat or PWC greater than 10 hp. Proper documentation and a valid identification is required to rent our skis. - State issued identification required for all rentals (NO EXCEPTIONS). - Jet ski drivers/renters must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license - Jet ski passengers must be at least 5 years old - If a passenger is under 18 years of age, then the driver of the Jet Ski must be at least 21 years old - Each Jet Ski can hold up to 2 passengers, but the combined weight must not exceed 500 lbs. - Signed liability waivers are required for all drivers and passengers. Minors must have their waivers signed by their legal parent or guardian. - All drivers and passengers must wear the appropriate swim/water wear while on the Jet Ski. - Renters Life jackets will be provided (there is a 30.00 fee for additional vest). - We are not liable for damages to nor loss of any personal items nor electronics. - Both the driver and passenger must be and remain in an unintoxicated state - CANCELLATION POLICY: Minimum Cancellation Fee: $50 per unit - Reservations cancelled 5 or more days prior to the scheduled departure time will receive a refund of the rental fees and security deposit minus a $50 cancellation fee per unit. - Reservations cancellation must be made (5) days prior to reservation date in order to avoid additional charges. - Reservations cancelled within 24-48 hours of scheduled departure time will allow for a 20% refund of the rental fee + the full amount of the security deposit. - No-shows and reservations that are cancelled the day of the scheduled reservation will not be eligible for any refund of the rental fees. However, the security deposit will be returned. - There will be no form of refunds, cancellations or re-schedules allowed once the boat leaves the dock. WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY: Weather-related cancellations will only be called the morning of the booking and no sooner in advance due to possible changes in the forecast. If extreme or unsafe weather conditions prevent a trip from taking place, guests are allowed to re-schedule their booking for another date within 30 days of the initially reserved date. If a new date is not booked within the 30 days, no refund will be offered. REFUEL FEE: Refueling fee of 40.00 will be required upon return If less than full. LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: The rental fee charged will be the amount quoted at the time of reservation regardless of whether or not the guests’ arrival time allows for the full boating time to be met.
