Private Sailing Charter on Miami's Biscayne Bay - Beneteau 40 ft sailboat

Let's go Sailing! Experience Miami's Biscayne Bay in a classic Beneteau Oceanis 400 - a beautiful 40ft sailboat. Day or evening private charters from Coral Gables for up to six guests. What You Can Expect: Miami's Biscayne Bay is a boating playground with an infinite palette of colors and vistas. Protected from ocean swells and open water hazards, Biscayne Bay is part of the Biscayne National Park's protected habitat. Enjoy a day or night outing, long or short trips, stop and anchor along the way, or just sail! Departing from Coral Gables (off Old Cuttler), she can sail north towards the downtown and Virginia Key area, east to Key Biscayne, or south into open bay waters. These are typically 3-4 hour outings. Options to sail farther south to the Biscayne National Park keys (Sands Key, Boca Chita, Elliott Key) are also available, but would require a full day outing. Depending on conditions and guest interest, going outside the bay into the coastal Atlantic waters off Key Biscayne and South Beach are also options. Day Sailing Day sailing is punctuated by the water colors, sky views and occasional sightings of dolphins, sea turtles, rays, gulls, ducks, pelicans, and other sea life. Anchoring near one of the sandbars, snorkeling, paddling the kayak, or just swimming and floating, are all great options. Sunset/Evening Sailing My personal favorite is departing just before sunset and sailing into the evening. The night scene is just as awesome as day sailing, but in a very different way. The starry sky, the night views of Miami's famed skyline, and the deeply peaceful vibe of watching the moon rise, the planes landing and taking off from MIA are all unforgettable. Night sailing is truly one of Miami's best-kept secrets. Onboard Comforts: Mystiko, a 40 foot, sloop-rigged sailboat with Bimini top shading the cockpit area, ample deck space for sunbathing, swimming platform, and below, an ample saloon, two heads and fully equipped galley. Great layout for outdoor fun, with air conditioned comfort below to take refuge from a passing shower. The perfect vessel for a small group (max 6) of family, friends or business associates to experience Miami's waters in an authentic and laid-back setting. She is equipped many toys and comfort features, including snorkeling gear, personal floaters, inflatable kayak, many cushions for comfort, gas grill, fantastic sound system, and many other comforts to ensure an unforgettable experience. Mystiko is docked in Coral Gables (off Old Cuttler), but may rendezvous with passengers wishing to initiate their trip elsewhere in the Miami area. (Note travel time to and from remote pick-up/drop-off location is billed at $80 per hour.)
