OwnerFish, swim and enjoy a full-filled day on the water for $600 per day! Our boat come with daiwa and shimano spin and bait casting tackle. The "Get Em" is a 2012 - 22' Pathfinder XL-Tournament Bay Boat equipped with a 2012 Yamaha SHO 250 HP Four Stroke outboard engine. It comes with all the required Coast Guard Equipment, 60 gallons of fuel capacity, which is enough to run all day and still have plentyof reserve fuel at the end of the day. Additionally, it is equipped with 2 live wells both have a re-circulating pumps and one is a release well plus a third well for crabs and shrimp. Other extras are a Humminbird 1198c SI Combo Recorder, Ship to Shore Marine Radio, Cell Phone, Ice Cooler, and 2-rod lockers capable of holding a total of 12 rods plus 10-rod holders on the console and rod holders on the gunwales. Our Captain is equipped with a 36 volt Minn Kota I Pilot trolling motor that allows him to sneak up on game fish in shallow water and shorelines. The "Get Em" has 1 Deka starting battery and 3 Deka trolling motor batteries. The Yamaha SHO is one of the most dependable engines on the market. Our Captain Pathfinder sits on top of a dual axel 2011 Continental trailer with D MAX Disc Brakes and Airtight Sport Model Bearing Protectors which enables him to take the "Get Em" where the big ones are biting best. The fishing tackle used on board is a combination of Daiwa spinning reels loaded with 6 to 20 lb. Suffix monofilament and braided line and Shimano Baitrunners loaded with 10 lb. to 30 lb. Suffix line covers all of our fishing needs. The "Get Em" has a full complement of artificial lures like Cajun Thunders, Hook Up Lures and Trigger X and Berkley Gulp scented plastic baits, Rapala hard plastic plugs plus terminal tackle by Mustad. The boat is insured and our Captain is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain on his 6th issuance. Frequently Asked Questions Can I split a charter ? Yes, but it is not easily accomplished. Better if you book the trip yourself or with a family member, a client or friends. Do I need my own tackle ? No. Our Captain is equipped with Daiwa and Shimano spin and bait casting tackle. His rods are Daiwa and custom built rods by Key Largo Rods. All terminal tackle is supplied and a good selection of artificial lures are always on board. If you prefer to bring your own tackle that's fine, but let Captain know so there isn't more tackle on board than necessary. How many people will the "Get Em" hold? For North Biscayne Bay and Flamingo the "Get Em" will hold up to three adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. For South Biscayne Bay 1 adult only! Gratuities ? If you are satisfied with how you were treated on your charter and if you felt our captain tried his hardest to put you and your party on fish, then I would recommend $25 to $100. This is strictly up to the client. I am not an experienced fisher person can I still go with your captain? Our Captain is a retired party boat Capt. and has taught thousands of novice and inexperienced fisher people how to fish. He takes pleasure in watching a new fisher person catch their first fish. He is very patient and great with kids but advises that young children should not be subjected to more than 4 hours on the water. Children must be 6 years or older. Our Captain also fishes intermediate and experienced fisher people. What about weather? The "Get Em" carries a supply of foul weather gear that fits adults. Rain in South Florida is a common occurrence and the fishing trip can in most cases be completed even in a rainsquall. The Capt. will not put you or him in danger and if hazardous conditions present than our captain will quickly run for cover and then either wait out the storm or terminate the trip. If bad weather is in the picture for your charter then a decision will be made either the night before or the morning of the charter. If bad weather forces our captain cancel the charter a full refund will be made or the deposit can be applied to a future date. What do we need to bring? Wear seasonal clothing, soft soled shoes that will not leave black marks on the deck, snacks or food for yourself, plenty of drinks for yourselves, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and a camera and during the summer insect repellent may be needed. There is dry storage onboard. Our Captain has an iced cooler onboard that is capable of holding enough drinks and food for 4 people. You will not be able to bring a cooler on board because of space limitations. You can bring a cooler with some ice that can be left in your vehicle for storage of your catch for your ride home. You can bring your favorite foul weather gear if you like but our Captain will have foul weather gear onboard for adults. Where will we fish ? Destination is your choice! - North and South Biscayne Bay - Flamingo - and at the Captain's discretion - Offshore!
