Let's go fishing! Up to 3 passengers join with the captain in the location of your choice on this 20' Lund Bass Boat. We can fish in Lake Michigan or many spots in the inland lakes and rivers. What You Can Expect: The captain can accommodate desired start times but the best fishing is usually shortly before sunup or sundown. Port of departure will depend on the season and prevailing weather and wind conditions. Spring salmon trips usually depart from Calumet Park at 95th street, East Chicago Marina (Pastrick’s), or Burns Ditch at Portage. Summer salmon trips usually depart from Waukegan. These are usually trolling ventures and all tackle and equipment will be provided. Inland trips are generally for one or two guests because casting and/or trolling will be employed, although three guests can be accommodated under certain circumstances. Musky trips are limited to one or two guests because of the space required. Customers are encouraged to bring their own equipment, if desired, when casting or jigging will be the primary presentation, but quality equipment will be available for their use if needed. Trolling equipment, if necessary will be provided. We also offer instructional trips focusing on a specific species or technique. Want to learn how to troll with crankbaits on leadcore line? Or how to vertical jig on a big river? Need some pointers on how to set up your new boat? Want to learn how to minimize tangles when setting a multiple rod set for salmon? These and other fishing mysteries can be tackled during an instructional trip. We offer several fishing trip options to fit your needs. Great Lakes trips are for one to three guests and for six hours minimum. Come out and let's go fishing! Since we have to pull the boat to the desired location, transportation can be arranged for any trip. What To Expect Onboard: My boat is a 2014 Lund 208 Pro-V GL fiberglass walleye boat. It is 20’ 8" long with a 96” wide beam providing for space and comfort and designed for walleye tournament fishing on big water. It has a wrap-around windshield and full canvas for a dry ride in rough weather. The boat is powered by a 300 horsepower Mercury Verado main engine, a 9.9 horsepower Mercury 4-stroke Pro-kicker for power trolling and emergency back-up, and a Minnkota Ulterra 112 electric trolling motor with iPilot Link (remote control auto pilot). I have installed a Minnkota Deckhand 40 anchor winch, Whitecap splashguards, four Humminbird sonar/GPS head units, three Big Jon Captain’s Pak electric downriggers, Traxtech Sportrack system, Big Jon , Bert’s, Angler’s Pal, Down East, Traxtech, and Scotty’s rod holders for greatest versatility, depending on application. I have a Depth Raider speed and temperature at depth unit and a Garmin TR-1 auto pilot for the kicker.
I honestly didn’t expect to walk away from this trip with a whole new hobby, but here I am—hooked for life. Guy has this way of making the entire experience feel effortless and exciting, whether you’re a total beginner or someone who’s been at it for years. From teaching the basics with real patience to creating an atmosphere that’s both laid-back and full of energy, he made it easy to fall in love with fishing. The way he explained the gear, read the water, and shared his stories made every moment out there on the water feel like something special. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and that kind of passion is contagious. I went in thinking this was just a one-time adventure, but now I’m already planning my next trip—and buying my own gear. Can’t thank Guy enough for turning what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend into the start of a lifelong obsession. If you’ve ever been on the fence about trying fishing, let Guy be the reason you dive in—you won’t regret it.

Great trip. Captain Guy went out of his way to find calm water for old guys on a “Bucket trip “
I am your captain and I would love to take you fishing. I started out like many of you by fishing with my Dad. He instilled the love of the Great Outdoors in both my brother and me. As I got older and more experienced I began to realize that there were many different varieties of fish worth pursuing. Almost nowhere else on earth are so many freshwater gamefish species available in such close proximity as around the Great Lakes. Think of it like going to Baskin-Robbins: why limit oneself to vanilla when there are so many flavors and they are all good?! I take great pride and pleasure in getting people to experience new species and techniques. In fact, I’d rather see my guests catch fish than myself. I specialize in small groups and personal attention. I do not guarantee fish, sometimes they just will not cooperate. That’s fishing. But I will guarantee that I will give my best effort every time out to put fish in the boat. Give me a call if you want to have a unique, hands-on fishing experience. • He has lived in the Chicago area his entire life • He got his Coast Guard OUPV license in February of 2009 and launched company in 2010. • He spends between 80 and 100 days on the water each year practicing his craft. • He enjoys talking shop and sharing the finer points of presentation with advanced anglers as much as teaching an eleven-year-old to use the figure-eight technique to catch his first muskie. • He also designs and manufactures his own line of custom tackle items including the Never Foul Musky Spinnerbait, the Second Chance Ultimate Musky Quick-Strike Rig, and lure condoms. • His boat is a 2014 Lund 208 Pro-V GL fiberglass walleye boat.
