This is a Mainship 30’ Downeast style, semi-displacement cabin cruiser. She is a clean, safe and handy vessel that performs well in New England waters. On board you will find a range of comfortable seating options, a full galley, head, v-berth and other amenities for your use and enjoyment. Your Guide and Host Bill is a world champion sailor, offshore fisherman, licensed captain, and waterman. He has spent his life on the ocean, growing up surfing and sailing in Southern California and making his longtime home in coastal New England, where he has plied his trades on boats. Bill knows how to be safe while having fun on the water. You will be in great hands on-board Island Girl with Captain Bill and his crew.

Where do you operate? We are based in Dutch Harbor, Jamestown, RI. We run tours in Newport, Narragansett Bay, Block Island, and nearby areas. How long are the tours? We customize tour lengths to the type of trip. Excursions are typically half day (3-4 hrs) or full day (6-8 hrs) and can start early or end late depending. Where and when do we board? Departure times and location are based on the type and length of tour. We have favorite docks in Dutch Harbor, West Ferry, Newport and Wickford Harbors. How many people can come on the tour? Tours host up to 6 people not including Captain and Crew. Can we bring food and drinks? All provisions are provided by West Passage Water Tours. Our specialty is catering your onboard experience. We serve simple but upscale boat food. Our guests enjoy not just their tour, but fine food and refreshments as well. Your menu options are limitless, but we may recommend some of our favorites. Popular items include local baked goods, gourmet sandwiches and wraps, charcuterie and cheese boards, tapas, ceviche’s and clam chowder. We also like to grill when at anchor. What should I bring? Dress for the weather. Layers are smart and proper footwear is essential. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a light jacket are recommended, There is room for carry-ons and personal items as needed. We provide safety gear. What if the weather is bad? If it’s unsafe or unfavorable, we’ll reschedule or refund your trip. Tipping Captain and crew (if any) is customary and reflects the time, effort, planning and execution of your experience. Thank you.
