Peter, Captain of Jambalaya, who hails from the UK, has been sailing for many years—including a circumnavigation of the world.Peter bought his first boat at the age of 26. After many adventures sailing the rocky shores of Western Europe, Peter set off on a five-year circumnavigation of the world with celestial navigation to show him the way (before the days of GPS technology). Crossing the Atlantic to his first tropical islands, the West Indies and through Panama to the South Seas meeting the rough waters of New Zealand and calms of the Australia's Great Barrier Reef. However, the Caribbean kept calling him back. With his extensive experience matched with formal sailing qualifications, Peter considers the Caribbean to be the best holiday sailing location.Sylvie, is passionate about providing the best service and is a talented cook. Born in France, she has brought with her many French-cuisine recipes and has adapted them for local products: she will keep you well fed with her French flair for Creole and Caribbean specialities!
