Sea-Doo Rental Terms & Important Policies By booking this Sea-Doo rental, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions: Booking, Late Arrival & No-Show Policy - Punctuality is appreciated. - Late returns will be charged at $250 per hour (or portion of an hour). - If you are late for your pickup time or do not show up, you are still responsible for 100% of the rental cost. - No refunds will be issued for shortened rental time due to late arrival or early return. Weather Policy - Rentals may be postponed or cancelled at the owner’s discretion if weather or water conditions are deemed unsafe. - Unsafe conditions include (but are not limited to): high winds, storms, poor visibility, or rough water. - If the owner cancels due to unsafe conditions, you will be offered a reschedule or refund. - No refunds will be provided if renters choose not to ride due to personal weather preferences when conditions are otherwise safe. Rider Limits & Licensing - Maximum of 2 people on the Sea-Doo at any time - The operator must hold a valid Canadian Pleasure Craft Operator Card (Boat License) and present it at pickup. - The licensed operator is responsible for the Sea-Doo and all passengers for the duration of the rental. Safety Rules Life jackets must be worn at all times. Reckless operation, intoxication, beaching, or unsafe behaviour will result in immediate termination of the rental with no refund. All local boating laws and safety regulations must be followed at all times. Capsizing / Flipping Procedure - If the Sea-Doo flips or rolls: - - It must be flipped back upright immediately to prevent water ingress and possible sinking. - You will be shown how to do this during pickup. Insurance, Damage & Repairs - The Sea-Doo is fully insured, so renters are not responsible for the full cost of major repairs. - In the event of damage that requires an insurance claim, the renter is responsible for covering the insurance deductible. - Minor damage (such as scratches, cosmetic damage, trim, accessories, or non-claimable repairs) will be paid for by the renter based on actual repair costs. - Damage caused by negligence, misuse, or failure to follow instructions may result in additional charges. Towing & Equipment - A ski/tow rope is included with the rental. - Wakeboards and/or water skis are available for an additional fee -- $100 for the day. - All towing must be conducted safely and in accordance with boating laws. General Expectations - The Sea-Doo must be returned in the same condition it was received, excluding normal wear. - Respectful use ensures safety, reliability, and continued availability for future renters.
