For more than 20 years, our family has been promoting the fauna and flora of the Moorea lagoon. Always in small groups, we share our childhood and our culture with you. The tour starts in the Moorea turtle sanctuary. You'll swim among the turtles and maybe meet Ohure Pio. Dean of this sanctuary, this turtle was rescued by Taina in 2007. Since then, more than fifteen of them have lived alongside us. You'll also be swimming with leopard rays, stingrays, and reef sharks. You will then discover submerged sculptures, very important in our culture, called “Tiki ”.If you are less comfortable in the water, we invite you to board Honu Kea, our glass bottom boat. Thanks to it, you will be able to fully enjoy the aquatic world and in an extremely comfortable way. But Captain Taina is also a family and private motu, which will be entirely reserved for you for an unforgettable lunch. On this small paradisiacal desert island, we will serve you a local menu with fresh products from our island. First of all, it's time to taste Moorea rum, accompanied by its local pineapple juice! Then, you will have a cooking class to learn how to prepare real raw fish the Tahitian way. At last, at the table! Enjoy our grilled chicken and fish kebabs on the barbecue. Depending on the arrival of our fishermen (salmon of the gods, Meka or swordfish) you will enjoy a fish freshly caught in our Polynesian waters .Alone in the world on this deserted island, spend an unforgettable moment, as a couple, with family or with friends. Afterwards, observe Magnificent Schools of Fish, Sting Rays, Eagle Rays and Reef Sharks. Also, discover sacred and ancient sculptures called “tiki”, that were brought into the sea .For the less experienced in the water, enjoy the marine landscapes and its animals on the Honu Kea, the Glass bottom boat. It is an easy and amazing way to discover the lagoon! Next, we welcome you to our family's private Motu. It is a coral island entirely at your disposal where you'll enjoy a delicious meal with fresh and local ingredients. Start by tasting the Rum of the Island, you'll love it! Then, learn how to make the Tahitian raw fish salad with coconut milk, try some chicken kebabs and grilled fish and fruits from the island. Depending on what our local fishermen catch (swordfish, Opah or Meka), you'll enjoy fresh fish directly caught from the Polynesian waters.
