THE EXPERIENCE Book a wakesurf charter on one of DFW's best wake boats and spend the day doing exactly what you want — surfing a world-class wave, tubing with your crew, floating in a cove, or watching a golden hour sunset from the bow. Your captain handles everything; you just show up. Our Malibu Wakesetter 24MXZ is purpose-built for wakesurfing. Equipped with Surf Gate® and Power Wedge III®, it produces a massive, clean wave on either side of the boat — the kind of setup professionals ride and beginners stand up on their first or second try. We've introduced hundreds of first-timers to wakesurfing on these boats, and we're patient, experienced coaches who genuinely love the sport. What a typical charter day looks like: We launch from the agreed-upon ramp, get out to open water, and dial in the ballast and wave settings for your group. Your captain walks first-timers through exactly how to get up on the board before anyone gets in the water. Then we rotate through the group — everyone who wants to surf gets multiple runs — while the rest of the crew watches from the spacious bow lounge, relaxes with a drink, or cheers from the stern. Between surf sessions, we anchor in a cove so everyone can jump off the boat, float on the island, or tube. The day moves at your pace. This charter is perfect for: - Friend groups, birthday celebrations, and lake day crews - Bachelorette and bachelor parties - Families with kids old enough to get in the water - First-timers who want to learn to wakesurf in a patient, low-pressure environment - Experienced surfers who want a top-tier boat without owning one - Corporate team outings and group events SECTION 2: WHAT'S INCLUDED & ADDITIONAL COSTS Everything included in your charter price: - Experienced, licensed captain for the full duration - Fuel — no fuel surcharge, ever - Wakesurf boards (beginner and intermediate options) - Towable tubes - Floating island / swim mat - Coast Guard-approved life vests for every passenger - Wakesurf coaching for first-timers - All safety equipment Bring yourself: - Cooler with your drinks and snacks (BYOB fully welcome — no glass containers) - Sunscreen (bring more than you think you need) - Swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes - Sunglasses with a strap or Croakies - A sense of adventure Optional add-ons (ask us when booking): - Extended charter time beyond your booked duration — subject to availability - Additional lakes or longer travel days — reach out for custom quotes on multi-lake days Gratuity: Not included in the price, but always appreciated by your captain if you had a great day. Standard boating gratuity is 15–20%. SECTION 3: DEPARTURE LOCATIONS We operate across multiple lakes in DFW, North Texas, and Oklahoma. When you book, let us know your preferred lake and we'll confirm the exact launch ramp location. Here's what we cover: Lake Lewisville — DFW's largest and most popular wake lake. Best for surf-focused groups, larger crews, and anyone who wants the full party cove experience. Launch from Hidden Cove Marina (Frisco), Little Elm Park, or Highland Village depending on your group's location. Lake Grapevine — Scenic, more intimate, and ideal for sunset charters and celebrations. Minutes from Historic Downtown Grapevine. Launch from Silver Lake Marina or Twin Coves. Lake Texoma — The big water option. Texoma straddles the Texas/Oklahoma border and offers wide-open stretches of flat water that wake surfers love. Great for groups wanting more of a destination day. Possum Kingdom Lake — One of the most beautiful lakes in Texas. Dramatic limestone cliffs, crystal-clear water, and far fewer crowds than DFW lakes. A favorite for guests who want something special and scenic. Broken Bow Lake, Oklahoma — Our most scenic destination. Surrounded by cedar and pine forest in the Ouachita Mountains, Broken Bow is stunning. We do run charters here — reach out before booking to confirm availability and any travel fees for this location. Not sure which lake is right for your group? Message us — we've been on all of them and are happy to help you choose based on what you want to do. SECTION 4: ADDITIONAL INFO, FAQS & HOUSE RULES About Three Seas Charters: We're a DFW-based wakesurf charter company that lives and breathes these lakes. Our captains spend their free time on the same water they take guests on — Lake Lewisville, Lake Grapevine, Texoma, Possum Kingdom, and Broken Bow. We run impeccably maintained boats and show up prepared, on time, and ready to make your day exceptional. Frequently asked questions: Do I need experience to wakesurf? Not at all. We take first-timers out constantly and it's one of our favorite parts of the job. Wakesurfing is genuinely beginner-friendly — most people are riding within their first few attempts. Your captain will coach you through everything before you get in the water. How many people can come? Up to 10 guests comfortably. Reach out before booking for groups of 8+ so we can make sure timing and equipment work for everyone. Can we bring food and drinks? Absolutely. BYOB is welcome and encouraged. Please leave glass containers at home. What if I want to do other lakes or a custom trip? Message us before booking. We're flexible and happy to build a custom charter around what your group wants — multi-lake days, sunset tours, specific coves, you name it. What's the cancellation policy? Full refund for cancellations 7+ days in advance. 50% refund for cancellations 48+ hours in advance. If your captain calls it due to unsafe weather conditions, you receive a full refund. We do not cancel for overcast skies or light chop. What should we wear / bring? Swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, sunglasses with a strap, a cooler with drinks and snacks. We handle everything else. Is wakesurfing safe? Wakesurfing takes place at 10–12 mph — significantly slower than wakeboarding or skiing. Falls are gentle. Your feet aren't strapped in. It's one of the safest tow sports available, and your captain maintains a safe, controlled environment at all times. House rules: - Life vests required for all passengers while in the water - No glass containers - No smoking on the boat - Maximum 10 passengers - Arrive at the launch ramp 15 minutes before your start time - Respect the water, other boaters, and your captain's safety calls CAPTAIN / OPERATOR PROFILE BIO Three Seas Charters is a premium wakesurf charter company based in North Texas.
