DISCOVER FREEDIVING The first contact with apnea. Duration: 1 day (ca. 5h) Maximum depth: 12 meters Academic session + water session FOR WHOM IS THIS COURSE? The Discover Freediving Course is for those who want to have a first contact with this sport. Also for those who do not want to commit to a full course. WHAT WILL YOU GET IN THIS COURSE? This course will allow you to know the base of this sport and descend to a maximum depth of 12 meters. It will increase your comfort and confidence under water. Once finished the course, you will see how your snorkeling will never be the same as before. You will be able to spend more time underwater in a relaxed way. HOW IS THE COURSE? The Discover Freediving course lasts only 1 day and is divided into 1 academic session and 1 water session. During the theoretical class, you will learn about the equipment used in freediving, the various disciplines, how to move underwater in an effective and relaxed way, different compensation techniques and the breaths we use to stay longer underwater. During the water sessions you will learn how to move underwater efficiently. The normal ratio is 2 students per instructor, with a maximum of 3, which allows greater attention and personalized instruction. The instructor will always be with you during the dives to increase your confidence and give you advice, making progress quick, but also to ensure the safety of students, which is the most important. At the end of the day, you can decide if you want to continue the next day with the course and certify yourself as an Freediver.
