28' Pearson Yacht Charter in Lake City
“Syzygy” a 28’-2 Pearson Yacht Pearson Yachts started in a garage by two cousins, Clinton and Everett Pearson. They initiated an era in yachting history and began the modern era of fiberglass production of sailboats at the New York Boat Show in January 1959 and have had quite a history since that momentous day. With some 20,000 boats out there bearing the Pearson name, from eight-foot dinghies to 53-foot sailboats, the Pearson legacy is well-established in the history of boating. The 28-2 Pearson, “Syzygy is a great medium sized boat that handles well and is very responsive to the helm making it a very good boat to learn to sail on. All running and standing rigging is easy to understand because it is the same as you would find on a larger boat but easier to handle for teaching sailing. “Syzygy” is a 1987 model designed by William Shaw and is a masthead sloop. Auxiliary power is a Yanmar diesel Engine. The Pearson is also a very good cruising boat.
