Boat Rental Terms & Agreement 1. Fuel and Boat Condition Documentation: The renter is responsible for documenting the fuel levels at the start and end of the rental period. This should be supported with clear photos. The renter is also required to document the overall condition of the boat at the start of the rental period. Any claims regarding the state of the boat must be substantiated with photographs taken at the beginning of the rental period. 2. Capacity & Guest Count: The boat has a maximum capacity of 8 passengers. Renters must inform us of the exact number of passengers before the rental commences. Any misrepresentation or exceeding of this capacity will result in immediate termination of the rental without a refund. 3. Damages: The renter will be held responsible for any and all damages incurred during the rental period. This includes, but is not limited to, damages to electronics, outriggers, pumps, hinges, latches, hatches, and any additional items provided by us (e.g., coolers, snorkeling gear, masks). Any damaged or lost items will be billed to the renter at the replacement cost. 4. Weather Cancellation Policy: In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel a booking for safety reasons. In such cases, the renter will be provided with an option to reschedule or receive a full refund. The decision to cancel due to weather will be made solely by us based on safety considerations. 5. Late or No-Show Policy: Renters must arrive on time for their booking. A grace period of 30 minutes will be allowed. After this, the booking may be considered a no-show. No-shows will not receive a refund. Late arrivals will have their rental period shortened by the time they are late. 6. Safety Considerations: Safety is our top priority. Renters are expected to operate the boat in a safe manner at all times. We will provide a brief safety orientation before each rental. It's mandatory for all renters. 7. Boat Rules: No illegal substances or activities are allowed on the boat. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Renters are expected to adhere to local boating laws and regulations. 8. Other Concerns: If you have any special requirements or concerns, please inform us in advance. We aim to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our renters. By renting the boat, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.
