Booking and Cancellation Policy: To secure your preferred date, we advise booking at least 48 hours in advance. The full price of the charter is charged once you approve an offer. These funds are held until the trip completes and may be subject to our cancellation policy. Cancellations made 72 hours prior to the booking date will receive a full refund. However, cancellations made within 72 hours of the booking will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Weather Policy: Safety is our primary concern. If severe weather (heavy rain, high winds, or lightning) forces us to cancel your booking, we'll offer you the choice of a full refund or rescheduling to another available date at no additional cost. Late or No-show Bookings: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled booking time for a mandatory safety briefing. Late arrivals may result in shortened rental time. No-shows will be charged the full rental price. Safety Considerations: All boat operators must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid boating license. We provide life jackets and insist that they must be worn at all times when on the water. Boat Rules: The boat is strictly a non-smoking area. Alcohol consumption is not allowed for safety reasons. We kindly ask you to respect the local wildlife and not leave any litter in the lake. Post-Rental Charges: While GetMyBoat does not charge a typical security deposit upfront, a section in our listing allows us to enter an amount for a security allowance. This can be applied to any post-rental charges that may occur. These may include minor damages, cleaning fees, gas fees, additional time added to a rental, or any other charges agreed upon by you and us during the trip. Damage Policy: The person who books the boat will be held responsible for any damage caused to the boat during the rental period. We highly recommend that you inspect the boat before and after the rental period in the presence of our staff. By proceeding with your booking, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Enjoy your time on the water! A waiver must be signed before boarding.
