Rates: • 4 hours: €540 • Daily: €1,080 • Weekly: €4,800 What You Can Expect: We offer unique and adventurous sailing trips on our yacht here in Iceland, as well as in east Greenland, and our hope is to provide you with exactly what our slogan offers: Wild Geese is available for chartering and can be rented minimum half day. It is recommended that the boat is rented with the skipper but bareboat can be negotiable by a qualified person which can demonstrate extensive experience in sailing with similar conditions as in Iceland. What To Expect Onboard: Our 35 feet sailing boat, the Wild Geese, is a Beneteau Oceanis 351, and is suited for eight passengers. With three double cabins and a spacious lounge with seating in a horseshoe sofa. The table and the sofa can easily be transformed into a bed for two. For a boat of 35″ she is considered quite spacious. For passengers convenience each berth is dressed up with soft and warm fleece blanket, sheet, duvet and pillow with clean covers and fresh and clean face- and bath towel. Optionally the berths are separable with dividing walls. The boat has all necessary safety equipment such as Life jackets and Life Boat. The captain Guðjón holds the RYA Yacht-master Offshore licence. He has vast experience in sailing, and his trips include the Trans-Atlantic, Greenland’s east coast, Faro Islands, Scotland and off course the coasts of Iceland. As well as trips in warmer climate such as Turkey and the Caribbean. Guðjón is also a mountain guide and mountain rescuer, with great experience in both rock- and ice climbing. In addition to that he holds a diving licence, and has decades of experience there as well . With all of these attributes you can rest assure that he is the right man to plan and setup an adventurous trip for you!
