Charter Policies Booking & Payment • All bookings and payments must be made through Getmyboat. • Direct payments or off-platform transactions are not permitted. • Reservations are subject to Getmyboat’s terms, payment policies, and cancellation policies. Guest Capacity • Maximum capacity is 12 guests per yacht, in accordance with Coast Guard regulations. • Groups larger than 12 guests require multiple yachts. Food & Beverage • Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, including alcohol. • A cooler with ice and bottled water is provided. • Access to the galley and refrigerator is available. • Glass beer bottles and red wine are not permitted onboard. Weather Policy • Charters may be canceled or rescheduled if: - Sustained winds exceed 25 knots. - Lightning is within 8 miles. - The captain determines conditions are unsafe. • Light rain typically does not result in cancellation. • Weather-related cancellations do not forfeit deposits. • In the event of unsafe weather, we will first attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, credit will be issued for the remainder of the season. Departure Locations • Standard departure location is Port Washington. • Pickups are also available from Larchmont, New Rochelle, Greenwich, and select New York City marinas. • Additional travel time may apply for non-standard pickup locations. • Dockage fees charged by marinas are the responsibility of the charter client. • Pickups from Pier 25 are weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed. Charter Time • Charter time begins at the scheduled departure time and includes any time spent at restaurants or other destinations. • Travel without guests for repositioning is billed at half the normal hourly rate. Safety • The captain has final authority on all safety-related decisions. • Coast Guard-approved life jackets are carried onboard for all passengers. • Child life jackets are available for ages 3 and up. Guests with children under 3 years old should bring properly fitting life jackets for their child. General Policies • Smoking is prohibited inside the yacht. • Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. • Guests are responsible for any excessive damage caused during the charter. • The captain reserves the right to terminate the charter without refund due to unsafe, illegal, or excessively disruptive behavior. • Shoes may be required to be removed depending on conditions to protect the yacht’s surfaces. By booking a charter, guests acknowledge and agree to these policies.
