ABOUT THE TRIP Experience the Venetian Lagoon in complete freedom aboard one of our easy-to-navigate boats. Departing from the H-FARM Campus Marina, you'll explore the tranquil waters of the lagoon without the need for a boating license. Whether you're visiting the colorful islands of Burano and Torcello in the North Lagoon or cruising towards the peaceful shores of Lido and Pellestrina in the South, this adventure offers a safe and unforgettable way to discover the hidden gems of Venice at your own pace. Before departure, you can choose to join our "First Maneuvers Course" to familiarize yourself with the basics and navigate with confidence. ABOUT THE BOAT Our Whaly boats are open, stable, and highly maneuverable—ideal for beginners or anyone looking for a simple boating experience. Each vessel is equipped with a reliable Honda 40 HP engine, which does not require a boating license to operate. The boat is designed for safety and ease of use, offering plenty of space for groups of up to six people to enjoy a day out on the water. WHAT'S INCLUDED Your rental includes a full tank of fuel, life jackets, anchor, mooring lines, and all mandatory safety equipment required for navigating within three miles of the coast. Basic insurance is included, along with continuous phone support throughout your trip. WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED Tips are not included, but are always appreciated. It is the renter's responsibility to refuel the boat to the same level before returning; the nearest fuel station is located on the island of Burano. Optional participation in the "First Maneuvers Course" is available to enhance your confidence and skills before departure. OTHER THINGS TO KNOW No boating license is required for engines of 40 HP or less, but a minimum level of navigation experience is strongly recommended. Comfortable clothing, sunscreen, and a hat are advisable. The designated captain is responsible for coordinating passengers during navigation, docking, and return to the marina, and is legally accountable for any damages caused to persons or property. Always stay within marked navigation channels and never venture beyond the areas indicated by briccole (the traditional wooden channel markers). This experience is ideal for couples, families, or groups seeking a safe yet authentic adventure among the wonders of the Venetian Lagoon.
