The Grumman is waiting for all families, friend groups and anyone looking to enjoy a great day of relaxing fun on Copake Lake! The Grumman is a 22 foot long boat with a maximum capacity of 14. This rental boat has plenty of space to bring all your lake needs for a full day on the boat. Drop the bimini top to cast some shade on the back part of the boat or close is up for total sun exposure. We offer the longest time-slot boat rentals on Copake Lake and provide all safety gear and lifejackets required by state laws. Boat rentals are full days only from 9 to 5, and renters can always return to the dock for a short trip home or grab food and drinks just a short walk away at Copake Country Club and The Greens Restaurant. Renters get a 100% refund if done within 10 days of your rental. All rentals are reserved only by booking through Get My Boat. For information on picking up your rental, what's on the boat and our liability conditions and rules please read the "Addition Terms & Information" section under the location map. Weekend and Holiday Rates are $450 and will be added to your reservation upon booking. If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Weekend and Holiday Rates are $450 and will be added to your reservation upon booking. *Attention: Copake Country Club is not affiliated with this boat rental. They only allow renters to park at their location and leave cash for payment in the pro shop. They are not responsible for handling boat renting issues or questions. You may not park at the dock.* Lessee agrees to rent the pontoon boat on the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement, and return the pontoon boat to us on the date and time specified in the same condition as when received. Lessee assumes all risk of loss and damage to the pontoon boat from any cause, and agrees to pay us for any such damage. The liability of the lessee hereunder is not limited to the amount of the damage deposit. Lessee acknowledges that they understand the proper use and operation of the pontoon boat in accordance with the NY Boaters Certification and Boaters Safety Course. A personal driver is not included in this rental and all responsibility lies on the persons renting the boat for proper use. Lessee acknowledges that there is no refund for the early return of the pontoon boat, and that boat must return in the original condition in which it was rented out including damage to motor and upholstery. Lessee acknowledges that in the event the pontoon boat is not usable, due to the fault of the lessee, there is no refund for unused rental time and that there is no substitute pontoon boat provided to them. As further consideration for the lease of this pontoon boat from us, the lessee agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless us and its principles, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all claims from property damage resulting in any manner whatsoever from the operation or possession of the pontoon boat by the lessee or any other person. Lessee agrees to pay all costs and expenses, including attorney fees, incurred by us in collecting any sum due under this agreement or in regaining possession of the pontoon boat. I have read and understand the above agreement, along with the attached safety rules and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions, and return the pontoon boat to us on the agreed upon rental time. PARKING AND PICKUP - We do not meet renters at the boat. pick up and departure in contactless - The Boat keys will be in the boat, parking and pick up is below - On the day of your rental you will park at Copake Country Club parking lot, you may not park at the deck and dock area. Please refer to the map in the pictures. In Green: parking, Yellow: walking route, Red: Deck/Dock GOOD THINGS TO KNOW - There is an anchor on the boat, and you may only anchor in the two swimming coves on the lake - You can move the motor up and down using the switch on the throttle handle. Do not run the motor while the propeller is raised out of the water - There is a cooler on the boat but you must bring your own ice - Only run electronics such as speakers and lights while the boat is in motion, failure to turn these off will kill the battery. - Do not leave the slide on for an extended amount of time or you may kill the battery (double decker only) - Familiarize yourself with the location of the fire extinguisher, horn, whistle, flares, and other safety equipment BOAT SAFETY RULES -No parking or leaving cars at the rental dock -There is no personal driver included in this rental, someone in the renting party must have boating experience and know how to drive a pontoon boat. People without boating experience should not be driving the boat. -No one should be on the forward bow while the boat is in operation -There is no jumping off the top deck and when swimming confirm water depth before jumping in and kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. -Stay 500 ft from all shorelines, bouys, boats and other people or vehicles in the water -No starting or running engine while out of water, this can overheat and total it -There is no towing tubers, skiers or anyone else off the back of the boats -Do not sit on upper deck or seat tops while the boat is in operation -The engine should be off anytime people are in the water -No one should be standing or laying on the back platform while the boat is operating -Doors should be closed and ladder & anchor up while the boat is operating -You need one life preserving for everyone person on the boat, people under 12 must have them on and we recommend bringing child safety vests you know properly fit your child. -DO not operate the boat while people are standing -Do not drink and drive the boat. Alcohol impairs reaction time and judgement.
