This is why we host more Marlin tournaments in Kona each year than any of the other fishing grounds in the pacific. We are the home of ‘world class sport fishing’. With over 20 years experience fishing in these local waters, not to mention over 1800 Blue Marlins released, we are your ‘fishing team’. We provide all of the fishing gear and Aloha. From any of our standard adventures to a custom adventure tailored exclusively for you and your group, we will try accommodate your requests. What To Expect Onboard: The boat is a brand new 2016 SeaHawk 36 custom from SeaHawk Industries of Sebring Fl. After 14 months of intense, attention to detail construction and rigging, she was christened in the pristine waters of off Kona HI. She is the first new excursion boat to the islands in many years. She has been out fitted with the only the best and up to date safety equipment, electronics and power train. She is powered by a Cummins QSB 6.7L. which complies with all U.S. EPA Tier 3 emissions regulations without the use of any after treatments. She also meets the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) and SOLAS requirements. THE QSB engines were designed with enhanced sociability with the high-pressure common-rail design which virtually eliminates exhaust smoke and allows for quiet operations. This design allows for an 80-percent reduction in noise and emissions which we all know improves the whole boating experience. We added an additional muffler and noise suppression system which increases the noise reduction and exhaust efficiency dramatically. She is a clean quite running machine. Being an excursion boat she is required to be a USCG Certificate of Inspection (COI) certified vessel. This is an extremely high safety standard to meet and maintain. Our COI inspection certificate is posted on the boat. She is equipped with state of the art marine safety equipment. Which includes the following: • Automated fire suppression system • 2 VHF radios – class D with automated DCS • Multiple cell phones, • E-PIRB, • AED • SOLAS first aid kit • 42 life vests • Fire extinguishers • Life saving flotation devices. For navigational purposes she has been equipped with only the best Garmin has to offer, a GPS with sounder and auto pilot. For the comfort of our passengers she has a fresh water system with hot water shower, an 8 speaker stereo system equipped with an under water microphone, 2 dive ladders (fixed and removable), a generator and inverter, dc and ac charging, a head (marine toilet), comfortable seating, safety railings and a non-skid deck surface. And of course for fishing we have equipped her with Precision Marine Hardware outriggers and rod holders. All our fishing gear is brand new Shimano reels and rods and locally made fishing lures which work best in these local waters. All our captains are licensed by United States Coast Guard and are certified in First Aid and are subject to all USCG regulations and training.
