Our boat rental business is a subsidiary of our boat repair business, which is family owned and operated and has been serving our central coast for 30 years. Not only do we live here, but we spend our free time on the lake as well, so we know boating, which is why we screen all renters and refuse to rent to anyone that appears unfit to operate a boat. We provide an orientation to the vessel, as well as the general rules and expectations of the lake and the surrounding communities. Although renters are exempt from needing a California Boaters Card, we consider water safety paramount to a successful vacation on the water, therefore we strongly encourage ALL boaters to get the California Boater Card holders.

Your booking is not guaranteed until additional documentation has been fully completed. These documents are handled outside of this booking platform. The card on file may be charged for: • Loss and/or damage to supplied items, including but not limited to ropes, flags, anchors, life jackets, and accessories. • A $150 rescue/service fee for incidents involving rope entanglement, running out of fuel, or failure to obtain fuel when instructed (fuel charges additional). Fuel Responsibility: It is the renter’s responsibility to monitor fuel usage throughout the rental period. Although each vessel is equipped with a fuel gauge, fuel readings may fluctuate or become inaccurate due to water movement and fuel tank design. Fuel consumption varies based on operating conditions, passenger load, and activity. Arrival Requirements: To avoid rental forfeiture, renters are expected to meet the dock master at 9:00 AM, and no later than 9:15 AM, at Lake Nacimiento Resort Marina. Please plan accordingly by entering the resort gate no later than 8:30 AM to allow adequate time for parking and walking to the marina.
