CANCELATIONS: We understand that plans change. However, because rental slots are limited, the following cancellation policy applies to all reservations - Cancellation >72 hrs: More than 72 hours before rental: Full refund of any amounts paid beyond the non-refundable deposit. - Cancellation 24–72 hrs: 24–72 hours before rental: 50% of the total rental fee will be forfeited. The deposit is non-refundable. - Cancellation <24 hrs: Less than 24 hours before rental: No refund will be issued. The full rental fee is forfeited. - No-Show: No-show (failure to appear at scheduled time): The full rental fee is charged and no refund or credit will be issued. LATE RETURNS: The Renter is expected to return the vessel to the designated slip at or before the scheduled return time. A late fee will be assessed as follows: - 1–30 minutes late: $25 courtesy grace fee. - 31–60 minutes late: $100 late fee. - More than 60 minutes late: $200 per additional hour, billed in one-hour increments. If the Renter has not returned or made contact by 60 minutes past the scheduled return time, the Owner reserves the right to contact local marine authorities. Repeated late returns may result in denial of future rental privileges. PETS: Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on our rentals due to the significant risk of damage to flooring and seats. ALCOHOL: Alcohol is allowed on the vessel to be responsibly consumed. At least ONE person must be designated as a designated operator of the vessel. In the event you are stopped and arrested for operating under the influence, you MUST contact our team. You will be responsible for the cost for any towing and charged late fees as prescribed above. SAFTEY: - Life jackets (PFDs) are provided and must be worn at all times by children under 13. Adult life jackets must be worn whenever the vessel is underway at the Renter’s discretion; however, all occupants must know where PFDs are stored. - The maximum capacity of the vessel is posted onboard and must not be exceeded. Overloading is a serious safety and legal violation. - All occupants must remain seated while the boat is moving. Standing or sitting on the bow, gunwales, or railings while underway is strictly prohibited. - The Renter must maintain a safe and lawful speed at all times, particularly near docks, no-wake zones, swim areas, and other vessels. - Swimming from the vessel is permitted only when the boat is anchored and the engine is off. No diving from the vessel. - No wake jumping, wake surfing, or towing of tubes, skiers, wakeboarders, or any person is permitted with this vessel unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. - At least one sober, competent adult must be designated as the boat operator at all times. The operator must not be impaired in any way. - The Renter is responsible for carrying the vessel’s registration, this Agreement, and any required boater education documentation while on the water. DAMAGE TO THE VESSEL: Renter Liability The Renter is financially responsible for all damage to the vessel, dock, or third-party property caused by negligence, misuse, violation of these terms, or any other act or omission during the rental period. This includes but is not limited to: hull damage, propeller damage, interior damage, upholstery damage, and lost or damaged equipment. Existing Damage Any pre-existing damage must be noted on the Pre-Departure Inspection Form signed at check-in. Damage not noted on that form at check-in will be presumed to have occurred during the rental period.
