Rental Policies & Safety Information - Weather Cancellations: Safety comes first. Rentals may be rescheduled or refunded if weather conditions are deemed unsafe due to thunderstorms, high winds, small craft advisories, or other hazardous conditions. - Arrival & Late Policy: Renters should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled departure time. Late arrivals may result in reduced rental time without refund. - No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive without prior communication may result in forfeiture of the reservation and rental fee. - Boat Capacity: Maximum capacity is 10 passengers or the manufacturer’s weight limit, whichever is reached first. - Operator Requirements: The renter is responsible for operating the vessel safely and must comply with all Florida boating laws. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, must possess a valid Florida Boater Safety Education Card or equivalent approved certification. - Fuel: Boat must be returned with the same fuel level as departure unless other arrangements have been made. - Safety Equipment: All required U.S. Coast Guard safety equipment is provided and must remain onboard at all times. - Prohibited Activities: No towing of water sports equipment, no reckless operation, no beaching the vessel, and no operation under the influence of drugs or alcohol. - Damage Responsibility: Renters are responsible for any damage caused during the rental period beyond normal wear and tear. - Clean Return: Please remove all trash and personal belongings before returning the boat.
