Sea Ray 56' Luxe Yacht: Your seaside escape awaits!

I’m giving three stars, which I think is gracious based on our experience. Our experience aboard the yacht was initially enjoyable, with a seemingly amicable crew. While the yacht staff did caution us to be mindful of our phones, they failed to forewarn us about the other scams prevalent in the area, such as the exorbitant charge for the table itself. This lack of guidance was disappointing, especially considering they must have been aware of the unethical practices in that location. As tourists, we entrusted the crew, assuming their local knowledge would guide us to reputable spots. When asked in the morning what the “plan” was, our exact words were, “we have no plans. We will take your recommendations.” I have never rented a boat with local crew and been expected to have an itinerary planned. You assume that the locals will know the best places to visit. Had I known that I should have planned the itinerary, I would have looked for another vessel and crew. This experience underscores the necessity of thorough research and planning when embarking on such trips. While the yacht itself and the owner's subsequent responsiveness were commendable, the lack of adequate guidance and the misleading information from the crew tainted our overall experience. As a cautionary note, it's advisable to carefully research the places that they are bringing you to and exercise vigilance, even when relying on local recommendations.
