Sea Pearl Traditional Top-sails Schooner - Historic 1915 Sailing Charter

This sailing vessel is a lovely traditional two-masts schooner, custom-fitted to accommodate overnight guests on-board. It preserves the beautifully rustic charm and elegance of its exterior, while offering comfortable and cozy accommodation and modern amenities for today’s modern traveler. It was built in Vlaardingen, Netherlands in 1915. Named “Dirk”, it was designed to serve as a sailing-fishing vessel. In 1930 she was the last sailing vessel in the Dutch herring fleet. After decades of fishing the Nort Sea, she was re-designed in 1991 into a schooner rigged sailing ship, sailing the Caribbean islands and Canada and named “Regina Catharina”. In 1999. she was re-fitted, re-named and delivered to Seychelles to commence charter operations around the islands of Seychelles.
