Additional Terms & Information

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policies for Yacht Charters: - Fifteen (15) days prior to your reservation you may cancel and receive a full refund for your deposit. Cancellations can end up being very costly for us, especially if reservations are made during holidays or during high season. Seven (7) to fourteen (14) days prior to your reservation you may reschedule your yacht charter but no refund will be given unless we are able to rent the boat or book another charter for those dates. Inside the 72 hours prior to your reservation, you may not reschedule or refund but we may reschedule for a later date, depending on the circumstances such as inclement weather. - After a deposit is made on a charter, we has up to a year to fulfill the Charter request though we cannot promise definite dates due to the uncertainty of weather. - All tours are considered "private charters" and are in no way associated with any state, Federal or government ferry services. - For Overnight Yacht Charters, if you find it necessary to change your dates and it is outside of fifteen (15) days prior to departure, you must inform us. No overnight yacht charters can be canceled within the fourteen (14) days prior to embarkation though tour dates may be rescheduled at our sole discretion in cases of emergencies, severe weather, or other exceptional circumstances. - We is not liable for return of monies due to inclement weather conditions such as strong wind, waves, hurricanes, tornadoes or any other act of God. - You must call and speak to the Captain in charge of your tour directly to accept alterations or changes. - If a cruise tour or boat rental is abandoned by the client or if the client is more than one hour late without contacting us, this is considered a No Show and no refund shall be given unless the boat is rented by another party. However, this is sole discretion and is decided on a case by case basis. - If a client appears to be under the influence upon arrival to pick up their boat rental, they will have forfeited any and all deposits. We could have rented to someone else that day so this represents lost revenue as well as any time spent preparing your boat rental for your arrival. - We does not permit use of ANY rental equipment for persons under 21 years of age unless they have taken a USCG approved Boater Safety Course and have a valid ID. Rental equipment includes but is not limited to: boat rentals and other small watercraft. - Full and/or partial refunds are not issued for Key West charters. Your booking date can be rescheduled contingent upon availability. FAQ How far do your yacht charters go? Currently, all of our yacht charters include fuel. Half day charters will go out of Englewood and will tour around Manasota Key, Stump Pass and to Little Gasparilla Island. Full day charters will go as far north as Venice, FL and as far south as Boca Grande, Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa and Captiva Island. Overnight charters will sail as far north as Venice and as far south as Sanibel and Fort Myers. We can charter further but fuel surcharges will apply. I want to do a yacht charter but what if I gets seasick. What can we do? Seasickness is best if it is prevented. If she takes a Dramamine the night before the charter, and then another prior to boarding, she will probably be just fine. We can also stay on the inside channels to reach our yacht charter destinations rather than going out in the Gulf. also, we can help her focus on things that are on land and are stable. This helps train the brain and inner ear so that the motion doesn't make a person feel sick. Can we charter the yacht with our own captain? We get asked this question a lot. If the captain is local and has a 100 ton USCG license, we can discuss it. Usually, the answer is no but there could be exceptions. Our areas are very shallow and local knowledge is a must for everyone's safety. Can we bring alcohol aboard the yacht charter? Yes - as long as the people consuming the adult beverages are of legal drinking age. However, if someone gets highly intoxicated and the captain feels it could endanger themselves or other passengers, he has the right to put the group off at the nearest port. How many people does the yacht sleep? There are two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms aboard the yacht. We also have a queen air mattress for use in the salon. The couch is comfortable too - especially for children. Can we cancel a yacht charter if it is going to rain? It rains in SW Florida on a very regular basis. This is our normal tropical weather pattern. This is another question we get all the time. If the captain determines it is unsafe or if there is a true low pressure system affecting our coast, then we can reschedule your charter. There will be periods of sun and clouds however, the yacht is fully enclosed and this will not affect your yacht charter. We will still cruise to a lot of cool places, restaurants, beach bars and you will still have fun....we promise! We reside 25 miles from the beach and it can rain here in Punta Gorda whereas folks out in the Gulf all day haven't seen one drop. Rain like that usually doesn't last. It's just normal tropical weather patterns with predominantly quick "isolated" cloud bursts. A named storm of any kind or if the captain deems the conditions as unsafe would be the only way we would reschedule your charter. If you live out of state, that would be the only circumstance in which we would refund a deposit if we could not reschedule during your visit to Florida. How do the free limousine transfer work and how many people will the limo hold? If you are staying in Englewood, we will provide free limousine transfers on all charters, half and full day. If you are staying outside of Englewood, we will provide free limousine transfers in Charlotte County from Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port, Gasparilla Island, Rotonda areas. Generally, the limousine transfers are free within a 30 mile radius of Punta Gorda. Outside of that area, fuel surcharges will apply. Another thing to factor in here is if you book an eight hour charter, the limo ride counts as part of the yacht charter time so it's important to have everyone in your group at only one or two pick up points. Can we go out to eat on the yacht charter? Absolutely! We can take you to many fine or casual eating establishments as part of your yacht charter. One island, Cabbage Key, can only be reached by boat so it is a premiere destination.
