1. Operator Requirements - Operators must comply with Texas boating laws. - No one under 21 years old may operate the jet ski. - Persons born on or after September 1, 1993 must present boater education certification approved by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. 2. Assumption of Risk & Release - Jet skiing is inherently dangerous. - Renter assumes all risks of injury, death, or property damage from use of the jet ski. - Renter releases and holds harmless the owner from all claims, except for gross negligence or intentional misconduct. 3. Indemnification - Renter agrees to indemnify and defend the owner against any claims, including those by third parties, arising from their operation of the jet ski. 4. Fuel & Cleaning - Jet ski provided full of fuel; must be returned full. $25 refueling fee plus fuel cost if not full. - Jet ski must be returned clean; up to $50 cleaning fee if returned dirty. 5. Weather - Rentals may be rescheduled for unsafe weather conditions. 6. Late / No‑Show - Late returns may incur additional fees. - No‑shows may be canceled without refund. 7. Safety Rules - Life jackets must be worn at all times. - No reckless operation, beaching on rocks, or operation in shallow or restricted areas. - Launch/return only at designated boat ramps. 8. Damage Responsibility - Renter is responsible for all damage during the rental, up to $6,000. - Owner may charge renter’s card or hold deposit for damages. 9. Delivery - Delivery to Lake Whitney or Lake Waco available for a $50 fee. 10. Operation Orientation - Owner may provide a brief safety/operation walkthrough; renter confirms understanding and ability to operate safely.
