Charter Cruising Monohull In Nassau & Paradise Island, The Bahamas!

Experience the fun and adventure in Nassau & Paradise Island, in The Bahamas, by boat! Charter the "Wind Dance" cruising sailing yacht monohull for up to 12 people.  See below for various cruise lengths & charter descriptions. We have 2 sailing yachts - Riding High & Wind Dance. Riding High is a 56' Gulfstar Ketch and Wind Dance, is a 41' Morgan Out-Islander sloop.   We usually accommodate up to 12 people aboard Wind Dance, and Riding High accommodates up to 26 people.   Both sailboats have beautiful and comfortable cabins below, with main salons with spacious seating and a dining table, and cabins with bunks, as well as two restrooms on each boat.    On deck on both yachts there is seating in the spacious center cockpit in the center of the vessel, and this is shaded by a Bimini top.  Above decks as well there are spacious cabin top areas with lots of additional seating.     Rates: Regular Season:  • 3 ¼ Hour - ½ Day Cruise: $970.00 • 4 ¼ Hour Day Cruise: $1,240.00 • 6 Hour Island Day Cruise: $1,510.00  (additional hours available upon request) • Sunset Cruise (2-hour): $810.00 Peak / High Season: USA Thanksgiving week, Dec. 16-Jan. 10, March 1 - April 15. • 3 ¼ Hour ½ Day Cruise: $1,100.00 • 4 ¼ Hour ½ Day Cruise: $1,450.00 • 6 Hour Island Day Cruise: $1,710.00 (additional hours available upon request) • Sunset Cruise: $810.00 What You Can Expect: #1 - Our island day cruise - This is usually from 10am until 4pm with great sailing, beautiful Rose Island beaching and fantastic snorkeling, snacks, drinks and a very tasty freshly grilled BBQ lunch - this is a great day out!   Itinerary - The cruise stops for snorkeling and/or beaching for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours, and there are about 2 1/2 - 3 hours of actual sailing/cruising time.  The beach is gorgeous, and is at a secluded location, at nearby Rose Island.  With this cruise the snorkeling is at a fantastic reef in a shallow reef location. You can snorkel from the sailboat, in 10-12' of water, or you can snorkel from the beach, so this is good for both experienced and beginner snorkelers.  We bring a tender/small boat along as well, so you can also actually ride to the beach and not get wet at all, which is nice if you'd like to bring a towel or camera ashore, or if you can't swim. Snorkeling - We have lots of great snorkel gear on board which is included. There is also instruction in snorkeling, or refresher pointers, given by the crew upon request.  There are swim waist belts (required) on board, and also life jackets are available (upon request).   Snacks, lunch - we include coffee with danish, cakes & pastries in the morning, and fruit & chocolate platters in the afternoon.  Our lunch is not catered - it is freshly prepared on board and grilled over charcoal with generous servings of our "secret recipe" BBQ Chicken & Ribs, Bahamian Baked Beans, Captain Randy's Famous Cole Slaw, and fresh dinner rolls from our local bakery, baked that same morning. Drinks - there are complimentary drinks - unlimited Rum Punch during the sail home, as well as unlimited fruit punch, iced tea, lemonade & bottled water during the entire cruise.  In addition to the drinks which are complimentary (as described above) aboard our various cruises, we do have a cash bar.  Sodas and juices are $2 and everything else (beers, cocktails, wine, Rum Punch) is usually $5-$8. With a private charter, if you have any special requests from the bar, let us know and we will provision accordingly. #2 - Our 4 1/4 hour half day cruise includes snacks, drinks, great sailing, beautiful Rose Island beaching and fantastic snorkeling. Itinerary - This usually begins at 9am or 1pm. The cruise stops for snorkeling and beaching for about 1 3/4 hours, and there are about 2 or 2 1/2 hours of actual sailing/cruising time. The beach is gorgeous, and is at a secluded location, at nearby Rose Island.  Snorkeling: with this cruise the snorkeling is at a fantastic reef in a shallow reef location. You can snorkel from the sailboat, in 10-12' of water, or you can snorkel from the beach, so this is good for both experienced and beginner snorkelers.  We bring a tender/small boat along as well, so you can also actually ride to the beach and not get wet at all, which is nice if you'd like to bring a towel or camera ashore, or if you can't swim. Snacks - we include generous cheese, salami, olive & cracker trays, along with fruit & chocolate snack platters, passed around by the crew several times during the sail home. You may bring additional snacks and/or boxed lunches with you, and also on private charters,  if you would like additional snacks or lunches provided these are available at an additional charge.  Drinks - there are complimentary drinks - unlimited Rum Punch during the sail home, as well as unlimited fruit punch, iced tea, lemonade & bottled water during the entire cruise.  In addition to the drinks which are complimentary (as described above) aboard our various cruises, we do have a cash bar.  Sodas and juices are $2 and everything else (beers, cocktails, wine, Rum Punch) is usually $5-$8.  With a private charter, if you have any special requests from the bar, let us know and we will provision accordingly. #3 - Our 3 1/4 hour half day cruise  includes snacks, drinks, great sailing, and fantastic snorkeling.  Itinerary - This usually begins at 9am or 1pm. The cruise usually stops for snorkeling  for about 1 1/4 hours, and there  are  about 1 3/4 hours of actual sailing time. Snorkeling: with this cruise you snorkel directly from the sailboat, in 10-12' of water, so very nice shallow water snorkeling, with the water even somewhat shallower over the coral.  This is in an area at the Eastern end of Atholl Island, known as the Sea Gardens. You are actually anchored quite close to shore, to the island, however this is a coral/rocky shore line so there is no beaching on this cruise. Snacks - we include generous cheese & cracker snack platters, passed around by the crew several times during the sail home. You may bring additional snacks and/or boxed lunches with you, and also on private charters,  if you would like additional snacks or lunches provided these are available at an additional charge.  Drinks - there are complimentary drinks - unlimited Rum Punch during the sail home, as well as unlimited fruit punch, iced tea, lemonade & bottled water during the entire cruise.  In addition to the drinks which are complimentary (as described above) aboard our various cruises, we do have a cash bar.  Sodas and juices are $2 and everything else (beers, cocktails, wine, Rum Punch) is usually $5. With a private charter, if you have any special requests from the bar, let us know and we will provision accordingly. #4 - Two Hour Sail -  These are a two hour sail, usually over the sunset but can also take place during the day time - if you sail at sunset the times are seasonal, or you can go for a sail in the morning or afternoon, depending on your and our schedule that day. This is a 2 hour sail to nowhere in particular, with sailing only - it doesn't allow time to stop for snorkeling but the scenery is fantastic - through Nassau Harbour, out into the Montagu Bay area, under the bridges, alongside the cruise ships - wherever the wind suggests. We include generous platters, passed around several times by the crew, consisting of cheeses & crackers. With regards to beverages, we include complimentary Champagne (2 glasses per person), or Rum Punch (3 glasses per person) - please make one choice for your party.  Then, there is a cash bar on board.   Options for Customizing Private Charters - We also often do customize the cruises in other ways - for example by  1 - Adding an hour or two to an all day charter, if you would like more time for exploring or snorkeling, or if  you'd like to add one or two of the things, below, without reducing your beach stop time.  2 - We can also often change the start time, if something different is needed and/or to work around your schedule.   3 - For smaller groups with daytime hours - 4 1/4 or 6 hour cruises only, or longer - we can often include a turtle encounter where you can watch turtles in quite shallow water, and/or swim and snorkel with them.  This is more weather dependent than the other things we do, due to the location of the turtles, but is often something we can include.  4 - Depending on the tide, and the weather, there is a shallow wreck (20-25') we can go to for snorkeling.  We recommend this more for stronger swimmers and experienced snorkelers. 5 - Additional water sports may be added on to the 4 or 6 hour cruises.  We include snorkeling but we can also arrange a private company to provide jet skis ($200 per hour for one machine, or $150/hour per machine, for 2 or more machines), parasailing ($80pp - 6 person minimum) and/or banana boat rides ($20pp - 8 person minimum) while guests are with us.  These activities are brought out to us, privately, at Rose Island.
