Join us on this fantastic 1.5 hour NightSUP Guided LED Illuminated Tour for as low as $80 NZD per person. Rates: • NightSUP: $80 per person What You Can Expect: After a detailed safety briefing and brief lesson (our aim is to have everyone standing up enjoying the experience) you will soon be gliding serenely around the beautiful shore-front of iconic Akaroa. What Will You See? The sea floor really comes to life under the lights as you follow your guide around the shore for a full hour on your paddleboard. Expect to see plenty of fish species darting around attracted by the lights along with plant life along the sea floor. There maybe some surprises too... How many of us can go? We can cater for up to 8 riders per trip and complete one trip per evening so get in quick. Is It Safe? Your Guide has an intimate knowledge of the route we take and is a SurfNZ Approved paddleboard Coach. You will receive a full safety briefing before you set off and you must follow the instructions of your guide at all times. You will be kitted out with a stable solid paddle board, PFD (Personal Flotation Device) a high quality leash. You will be within 100 metres of the shore for the entire trip therfore you are very close to shore the whole time. We want you to have a great time and an experience you will never forget so we take your safety very seriously. We only run on calm nights so you don't need to be a highly experienced rider to participate. What time do we go? We head of before sunset so you can experience the sun going down over the incredibly beautiful Akaroa harbour while out on the water. As the sun goes down the lighting systems really kick in and the fish come out to play!
