Matakana Saltwater Adventure Day combines the best surf and snorkel adventures that our superb coastline has to offer. Catch the surfing bug and get up close and personal with Matakana’s incredible marine life all in one action packed day. Your adventure begins at the snorkel destination of your choosing: Goat Island, Tāwharanui Marine Reserves, or Whangateau Mangroves. Here you will meet your Marine Biologist Guide, and after a relaxed orientation your group will embark on an unforgettable snorkel adventure. We interlude with a top quality picnic lunch, soaking up the saltwater settings. Once the group has refreshed, refuelled and relaxed we reconvene for the final Saltwater Adventure, a Private Surf Lesson at the magnificent Omaha Beach. *Activity order and locations are subject to tide and weather conditions.
