I honestly can not say enough good things about Don and his beautiful boat! I booked Don for my boyfriend and I’s date night. He was so friendly and had coolers and some snacks on board for us! He was amazing and we will definitely be back very soon!
Could not recommend booking Capitan Don's boat any more! The views of the city we tremendous. The ride was smooth. Everyone in my group had the most amazing time, and before we could get off the boat, we were already talking about how excited we would be to rebook again.
Captain Don provided the most fun experience for our group. It was planned as a surprise birthday outing for a friend and Don helped execute it perfectly. Our pick up and drop off location was ideal, plenty of space on the boat and Don provided anything we wanted to drink for an afternoon cruise around the harbor. Everyone had a great time and we would 100% do it again!
Traveling with Don for my birthday party with friends was one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences in my life. * Throughout the process, I am impressed by his responsive and upbeat communications. Immediately after I sent my inquiry, Don replied quickly with a great pricing and detailed offers to celebrate the birthday. I sensed his positive attitude and communicative temperament right away and continued our conversation. He answered every question I had and gave me good suggestions to structure the route to maximize the experience. * Don has a great spirit of service during the whole trip. Whenever we have questions or requests he would try his best to make it happen. We divided the trip to several stages: Spectacle Island visit, Birthday Cake Candle celebration on the deck during sunset, and night view of Boston skyline. He listened to each of our request carefully and pitch in whenever me miss something. For example, when we did the birthday cake celebration, we forgot to bring the plastic plates, he asked his helper Matt to get the plates to us. As we were mesmerized by the Boston's night skyline, he had Matt bring us the speaker to the deck so we can also soak in the music as well to enhance the experience. There are other countless small pleasant surprises during the trip. I will not spoil it at this point. I would strongly recommend Don to be the Captain of your trip.
I can’t say enough great things about Don and Tara (and pup Cooper!). Everything about our trip was seamless. Don was so easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. Our actual boat ride was amazing. The food Tara provided was delicious and the whole experience was comfortable and fun. I recommend Don and Tara for anyone looking for a nice private boat outing. I am certain we will be booking again in the near future.
I am excited to be a part of the GetMyBoat movement in making boats more accessible and affordable to others. I hope to get out on the water more and help boating grow.

Frequetly Asked Questions Is it safe for a novice to take a boat out? Our Boating Safety and Small Boat Operation course are designed to allow both novices and experienced boaters to safely operate our boats in the waters of Boston Harbor. We give you a complete review of the Rules of the Road, Coast Guard safety requirement, safe boating practices, local and federal boating rules and regulations, plus a thorough check out on the boats' controls, and time behind the wheel with an instructor. The boats are designed to be easy to control and there are very few obstacles to having to worry about. Will we get lost? Lost - adj. (1) strayed or missing (2) no longer visible. No, you won't get "lost" but might get a little disoriented at times. Especially on those days when you set out to find that cool little island you've heard of or that snorkeling spot someone recommended to you. But with a little patience you will find your way and no you won't end up on "Gilligan's Island". We recommend taking our Basic Navigation course as an ideal way to learn or review interpreting charts and navigating within site of land. The course takes a tour of Boston Harbor on one of our boats, pointing out places to go and things to do, as well as understanding navigation aids. We review anchoring principles and anchor off one of the islands for a lunch (don't forget to bring one) before returning. Afterwards you can feel confident about renting one of our boats and setting off on your own. Do we have enough gas for today? Your boat will be full of gas at the beginning of your rental, and that will be sufficient fuel for a full day of boating. Our boats have large gas tanks (for their size), and refueling is usually only necessary after several days on the water. However, you should always check the gas gauge before leaving the dock
