ABOUT THE TRIP Experience the magic of the Venetian Lagoon with full autonomy and freedom. Depart from the H-FARM Campus Marina and set off aboard one of our easy-to-handle Whaly boats equipped with a 40 HP Honda engine. No boating license is required—just a sense of adventure and the ability to navigate calmly and responsibly through peaceful waters. Whether you're exploring the Northern Lagoon with its picturesque islands like Burano and Torcello, or heading south towards Lido and Pellestrina for a family-friendly day out, this trip offers an authentic and safe way to discover Venice from the water. ABOUT THE BOAT You’ll be aboard a sturdy and maneuverable open Whaly boat, ideal for first-time boaters and those eager to learn. The boat is powered by a Honda 40 HP engine, which does not require a boating license to operate. Designed for ease of use and comfort, the vessel is perfect for groups of up to six people looking to explore the lagoon at their own pace. WHAT'S INCLUDED Each rental includes life jackets for all passengers, a full tank of fuel, an anchor, mooring ropes, and all required safety equipment for navigation within three nautical miles from the coast. A basic insurance policy is included, and you’ll have access to phone support throughout your trip for added peace of mind. WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED Tips are not included, but are always appreciated. OTHER THINGS TO KNOW While no boating license is required for engines up to 40 HP, a minimum level of boating experience is strongly recommended. Captains are fully responsible—both civilly and criminally—for any damages caused to people or property due to their conduct. Staying within the designated navigation channels marked by briccole is mandatory at all times. Before departure, you have the option to book a "First Maneuvers Course" to gain confidence at the helm and ensure a relaxed, safe boating experience. Comfortable clothing, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended. The nearest fuel station for refueling is at Burano Island. The captain is responsible for coordinating all passengers during navigation, docking, and when returning to the marina.
