Hi, I'm Jess, owner of Meant to Be, On the Sea. I'm delighted to have you onboard for a unique and elevated private cruising experience. San Diego has no shortage of boats for hire. But very few experiences are designed with soul. My classic (yet new!) coastal cruising yacht is private and exclusive — never crowded, never rushed. Every detail is curated to create a seamless atmosphere of calm luxury. You don’t feel like a passenger. You feel like the host of something extraordinary. This is for the partner who wants to do it right. For the one who understands that setting matters. For the one who knows that memories deserve intention. Luxury doesn't have to be loud. It’s found in thoughtful touches that linger in memory long after the sun sets. In the quiet moments between skyline views. In the way everything simply flows. I call the experience California Coastal Calm - come aboard and experience it for yourself on Meant to Be!
You’ll get helpful information for your departure after your booking is confirmed.

Free cancellation up to 14 days before your trip.
What is the cancellation policy? Guests may cancel up to 14 days before the tour date to receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before tour date will be able to rebook/reschedule the cruise within six months, but will not be refunded. Operator cancellation, due to inclement weather or mechanical issues, will be fully refunded (or if you wish, rebooked/rescheduled). Read our detailed weather policy (below), as Operator/Captain - not guest - will make the judgment on inclement weather cancellations. What if the weather is bad or rainy during the day/night of my cruise? The Captain (and only the Captain) will make the final decision as to whether a tour is cancelled due to inclement weather. We will proactively reach out to you as far in advance as the forecast allows. We do continue to cruise in hot weather. As for rain, we want your experience on Meant to Be to be exceptional - and that does not mean forcing you out on a rainy day. If it is raining the few hours prior to your charter, we are happy to cancel and fully refund you (or rebook you to an alternate date). If you wish to continue with the cruise, Meant to Be comes equipped with a bright, spacious inside lounging area with 360-degree views from large wrap-around windows. If the National Weather Service declares a small craft advisory, or if we otherwise expect excessive wind or rain, we reserve the right to cancel a tour for the safety of our guests. Again, ONLY the Captain will make the final decision on weather. What if I am late for my cruise? Guests are requested to arrive 10 minutes early for their cruise to ensure an on-time departure. Any amount of time you are late will reduce your booked time. For example, with our three-hour cruise if you arrive 30 minutes late, we can only make the duration of the voyage 2 hours and 30 minutes. This policy is created with respect to keeping other cruises on time for guests who have voyages later in the day. Please keep in touch with the Captain if you are running late.
