Rental Terms Cancellation Policy: Refund of 90%, on cancellations received on this portal or in writing via email, by 5 days prior to sail date and time. Vessel has indoor and outdoor areas, it is a water based rental. Rain, wind, sea surface conditions does not affect being able to conduct this rental. Ambergris Caye has tropical weather with sporadic light rain showers that blow away. Weather apps often are not fine tuned to the island's very small area and location; forecasts may often be inaccurate. Weather Cancellation Policy The safety of our guests and crew is our highest priority. All tours operate in accordance with prevailing weather and sea conditions, official weather forecasts, and guidance issued by the relevant maritime and government authorities. Please note that weather conditions are subjective and may not always align with a guest’s personal expectations or preferences. Light rain, overcast skies, intermittent showers, or forecasts indicating the possibility of rain do not automatically constitute adverse weather conditions. Rain alone does not constitute bad weather and is not grounds for cancellation, refund, or rescheduling when a tour is operating as scheduled. The determination of whether weather conditions are suitable for tour operations shall be made solely by the Operator, in accordance with Belize government issued advisories. Decisions regarding tour cancellation, postponement, delay, or modification due to weather shall be based on official government weather forecasts, Port Authority notices, marine advisories, and actual operating conditions as assessed by the Operator guided by these formal channels. Guest requests to cancel due to personal interpretations or preference of weather shall not qualify for a refund, credit, or rescheduling when the tour remains scheduled to operate. Should the Operator determine that weather or sea conditions present a safety concern and formally cancel the tour, guests will be offered either: - Rescheduling to an alternative date, subject to availability; or - A refund. - any qualifying refunds shall only be made via the same payment mechanism the initial tour payment was made via, and dependent of the time frame those funds have been released to operator for said funds to then be available to be then returned. Refund processing starts the day after the rental date. The Operator’s decision regarding weather-related tour operations and cancellations shall be final.
