Cancellation Policy:  ONE OF THE BEST ON THE WATER!  100% rental deposit refund for Cancellations confirmed no less than 4 days before scheduled experience. A rental deposit will be forfeited for cancellations occurring within 3 days or less of scheduled experience.  However, we also provide Rebooking opportunity or 100% refund if on the date of your cruise, the weather is unsafe for the yacht to launch - So no need to cancel days before your trip if you're considered about weather day of your trip. 4 days out 100% refund; However, no need to cancel if you're concerned about weather 4 days out - We permit day of cancellations due to weather if it is UNSAFE to cruise for whatever reason...Light rain yet no threatening weather, the cruise goes....Lightening or unsafe seas, cruise is cancelled. UPON ARRIVAL Wait at gate for your entire party to arrive. Call and WAIT for your captain or our team to come escort you down dock. Harbor Requires clients to be escorted - Please DO NOT enter dock WITHOUT escort - we may politely ask you to return to the top of the gate until ready to receive you SAFETY Approximate 15 MIN. SAFETY OVERVIEW required by USCG regulations before the yacht launches. Boating is an amazing experience - So long as everyone understands and respects the rules and inherent risks of being on the water…Please: Follow Captain’s guidance and expectations. Provide undivided attention as we depart and return to the Dock or anchoring. Avoid standing on the swim platform while underway. Keep body weight low when on the bow (front) of boat. Wear life preserver should you enter water. Suggested to stay immediately behind boat for best visibility when swimming.    Keep account of persons in the water. Be mindful of drinking, swimming, sun and too much fun. BE SAFE. CONDUCT: Clients are expected to follow the rules of the Chicago Park District and Marina Services. Appropriate behavior expected. Smoking or pets not recommended. Weapons are PROHIBITED on Park District grounds. Ages 12 or younger required by law to wear a flotation device at all times.  Suggested to avoid Red wine or drinks that stain - consider Fee to repair.  BOARDING and DEBOARDING: Board and get settled quickly for Safety Overview. Yachts return 15min. prior to end of booking time, to allow for on time deboarding. Cruises are not extended due to the late arrival of passengers. Additionally, please assist to quickly deboard all passengers and avoid lingering, continuing to eat and drink, etc. The yachts have quick turnarounds to serve the next clients. DEPOSITS: Will be applied to any damage, unnecessary cleaning, particularly biohazard anywhere about the vessel, etc. Please Understand Toilet Instructions.  Ask for Waste Management kit if needed.  Consider smaller soft-sided coolers. We also have at least one cooler for your use. Passenger Waiver Required (will be provided by Captain). *If any guest acts in a manner contrary to the expectations of the Captain, Chicago Park District, USCG regulations or general safety of others, the remainder of the trip maybe canceled without a right to refund, and local police/marine authorities may be summoned in extreme cases.   We reserve the right, on very rare occasions, to cancel an experience for any reason, yet particularly due to the following conditions and/or for other health, safety or unforeseen matters: Weather Related Hazards and Advisories:  Including but not limited to High winds; Small craft advisories; Unsafe Waves Conditions; Thunderstorms or threat there of;  Any Inclement weather/rain; Fog, etc.  ATYE's Captain will assess matters at hand and determine a "go or no go experience" as late as one (1) hour before scheduled experience departure.  Feel free to remain in contact with the captain, nonetheless we will be in touch with you. Civil unrest, rioting or war nearby Mechanical breakdown Harbor is closed, or access is restricted Local, State or Federal orders Any other health and safety matter, etc. We will work with clients to reschedule their experience for a different time the same or different day in the event of a need to cancel.  Customers may be offered refund if not. If an "on the water" experience must be cut short due to matters directly related to the operation of the vessel, we will work with clients to determine the best resolution if one is required.  The company and its agents accept no liability for cancellations due to any of the above, uncontrollable or unanticipated matters. $250+ Charged ONLY IF REQUIRED Excessive or BioHazard Cleaning (Includes Water/Motion Sickness Cleaning), etc. You are responsible for removing your TRASH. Ask your captain if they are taking trash for you or not. If not, gather and dispose of in bins at end of docks River cruising may not be advisable on the date of your cruise. Discuss with team and captain. Note: Additional fees required by city of Chicago and/or other Chicago river agents, may apply.
