We had an amazing experience with Banana Boat Rentals and Captain Jason for our group of 15, including 5 kids, on a Sunday afternoon in Austin. From start to finish, communication was excellent…Jason was responsive, professional, and made the entire booking process easy and stress-free. The trip was a fantastic value for the experience, and everyone in our group had an incredible time. Captain Jason was friendly, knowledgeable, and great with both the adults and the kids, making sure everyone felt safe while still having a ton of fun. He went above and beyond to ensure our day on the water was memorable. We would absolutely book with Banana Boat Rentals again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly day on the lake!

Jason is the owner of Banana Boat Rentals & a u.s veteran. He was so kind & a fun time to be on the boat with! He has many cute boats, the one we were on was pink & called “The swifty” (named after taylor swift lol). He also has a pink one called “The Bee” or “Queen Bey” (something like that lol, named after Beyonce), and a super pink one called “The Barbie.” As i mentioned, he was very kind & made us all feel very comfortable, especially considering the fact that majority of the guests were gay. He wasn’t homophobic or anything like that. (which was a relief since last year our boat captain was & was rude - last year was with a different company tho). Anyways, my friends & i try to do a boat at least once a year, if not more. So i already know that next year, we’ll be using Jason & Banana Boat Rentals again!

we had the experience of going on the boat, and from beginning to end, everything was seamless and good even with a couple of small unexpected delays we were able to continue through with without any incident. Everything was fun & enjoyable. We really liked all of the information shared about the surrounding area. we had a mixture combination of sightseeing and parked boat to enjoy the water as well. All of my guests were very pleased and happy with our boat day. we've been on other boat services, and I had a superior experience and will be returning for future boat rentals. glad we were able to find such a nice boat service.

Free cancellation up to 10 days before your trip.
Additional Terms & Information
Cancellation Policy 10-day notice from your reservation time last day is required if you decide to cancel. We need time to rebook your time/date or we reserve the right to fully charge you for your reservation. Cancellation must be through GetMyBoat and not by telephone. There are no cancellations on holidays on holiday weekends. No captions. Please plan carefully. A $250 security deposit is authorized at the time of booking for any damages or extreme clean-ups due to vomit or food being ground into the boat, but your card will not be charged at all unless damages occur. A 20% mandatory tip for your captain can be made directly to your captain by cash or Venmo at the end of your charter. We reserve the right to charge your security deposit if you forget or fail to tip your captain. There are NO cancellations on holidays or holiday weekends. No exceptions. Please plan accordingly. Weather Policy: Heavy rain or lightning will cause a cancellation, not a weather forecast showing the possibility of them. You have the option of touring in light rain. Light scattered rain will not be considered for cancellation. 7 day forecasts will not be considered for cancellation. Forecasts change daily and we will only accept a 12 hour forecast from the start time of your charter as consideration for cancellation. there is no charge if cancellation is determined.
